侯劍平雙眉一皺，向東方瑤問道：不在萬花宮麼？瑤姊知不知她和杜丹、秦劍吟兄等人遭遇？
東方瑤笑道：天下事往往奇巧萬分，公孫姑娘等人遭遇，可以說與你的遭遇，完全相同！
侯劍平詫道：完全相同，此話怎講？
東方瑤含笑說道：你是被桃花娘子柳如綿發動爆震，活埋在百年庵下，她們則是被千面小天魔軒轅斌等，發動爆震，活埋在天魔別府之下！
侯劍平聽得好不驚奇，失聲問道：她們是是怎樣被誘進天魔別府之內？
東方瑤因自己不問收穫，只問耕耘，已存必死之念，打算與侯劍平共度三日時光，略為慰藉，遂不慌不忙地，嬌笑說道：這話太長，好在我已知前後詳情，可以慢慢說給你聽！
邊自說話，邊自與侯劍平並肩坐在榻上，看著他的英俊臉龐，笑聲叫道：平弟，我未曾細說前因，先略為吐露後果，好讓你放寬心腸，公孫姑娘等，不單未遭劫數，已來苗疆，並也到了這無愁壑下！
侯劍平聞言之下，自然心中狂喜！
但他深知東方瑤對於自己，不單恩重，並亦情深，遂不願當著東方瑤面前，過分關切公孫璿，以避免使東方瑤有所刺激！
故而他雖聞喜訊，卻仍強自矜持，以一種平靜語言，點了點頭，含笑說道：這大概便是所謂福善禍淫，吉人天相，瑤姊還是把詳細經過，告訴我吧！
東方瑤自行斟了一杯茶，捧在手中，便把一切情況，對侯劍平細加敘述。
千頭萬緒，自然縷述不易，說來費時。
仲孫明到了晚飯時間，只命人送來精美飲食，絕未對東方瑤等有所滋擾。
侯劍平笑道：瑤姊，此洞主人定然是你好友，否則怎會對我們如此優待？
東方瑤心中一酸，強裝笑容說道：平弟猜得不錯，這裏的主人家對我萬分關切，可以說是我的生死之交！
侯劍平道：既然如此，怎不請來一會？
東方瑤向他看了一眼，緩緩說道：平弟莫急，主人正在坐關，到了第三日上，自然會和你我見面。
侯劍平哪裏知道東方瑤為他受盡委屈，芳心以內滿含心酸，仍然含笑叫道：瑤姊，飯吃完了，你再說下去吧！
東方瑤往下敘述，但在說到公孫璿等，上當中毒，頸項間並被纏了兩條異種怪蛇的要緊關頭，卻倏然住口不語。
侯劍平雖然早知結果，卻仍頗為焦急地，向東方瑤抱拳作揖，央告說道：瑤姊，你莫吊胃口好麼，怎怎可在到如此緊張之處，突然停住？
東方瑤是謀定而動，面含微笑說道：平弟若是不乖，我便不說下去。
侯劍平急道：瑤姊何來此語，我我有什麼事不乖？
東方瑤笑道：乖就必須聽話，你我一同上榻！
這句一同上榻之內，似乎含有旖旎風光，不禁把侯劍平聽得心頭直跳！
東方瑤見了他那面紅耳赤的窘迫之狀，並揚眉問道：平弟，你不要想到那處去了，我是要你在榻上五心朝天，盤膝坐好！
侯劍平心中一定，趕緊盤膝端坐，並揚眉問道：瑤姊，你難道是叫我一面用起內家坐功，一面聽故事麼？
東方瑤也在侯劍平身後，盤膝坐好，冷冷答道：對了，就是要你這麼聽，並只許你聽，不許你問，你若一打斷我的話頭，我便不再開口。
侯劍平弄不懂她葫蘆之中，賣的甚藥？只得如言端坐，不敢作聲。
