Chapter 1 Chapter Fourteen Two Rivers and One Hundred Counties Song Shanchuan

Chapter Fourteen Two Rivers and One Hundred Counties Song Shanchuan Xining eighteenth year, January 10th.The city of Bianjing, where the remaining snow has not yet melted, looks extraordinarily cold, but if someone pushes away the white snow at this time, they will find that the weeds under the snow are no longer as dry and yellow as winter. The greenness of early spring seems to be impatient to come to the world. That's a good sign.In the north of Bianjing City, on the official road outside Chenqiao Gate, Fan Xiang rode on a horse and looked at the spring breeze slipping out from the cracks in the stones on the side of the road, laughing at himself in his heart.

Fan Xiang never imagined that the dispatch of the mourning envoy to the Liao Kingdom would fall on his own head. For this reason, the Ministry of Officials also specially transferred his position, from the household and house affairs of Shangshu Province to the head of the Ministry of Rites of the Ministry of Rites.Although the two official positions appear to be at the same level, in fact, of course, the household and house management has a higher position of authority.Fan Xiang didn't care about his official position. Although he cared about his fame, he knew that after returning from his envoy to Liao Kingdom, as long as he did not disgrace his mission, he would soon become a seventh-rank official. The director of the Ministry of Rites is just a temporary assignment, so it's not worth worrying about.

But Fan Xiang didn't want to go to Liao at all. After receiving the appointment, Fan Chunren gave him special advice and told him that the Liao Kingdom might commit crimes to the south. Therefore, his mission this time is not only to inform the Liao Kingdom of the Song Dynasty that there is a national funeral, but also to play by ear and assist Su Shi as much as possible. Prevent the Liao Kingdom from going south. Fan Xiang didn't feel that he was good enough to come and go for a job, not to mention that this trip was full of dangers. But he didn't know whether it was luck or unlucky. Both Fan Chunren and Sun Gu admired his talent, and Shi Yue also thought he was competent. At this time, the country was troubled, how dare he refuse? What's more, after him, he knew that according to the story, several groups of envoys would be sent to the Liao Kingdom, and he was just an outpost. As a last resort, I had no choice but to bite the bullet and go into battle. However, this is indeed not the job Fan Xiang likes.Even if he went on a mission, Fan Xiang felt that he was more suitable to serve as a more festive envoy.

Fan Xiang glanced at Pan Zhaolin, who came to see him off, and became more suspicious.Because it coincided with the national mourning, he sent an envoy to Daliao to express his condolences, so it was naturally inconvenient for his relatives and friends to see him off at Shili Changting, and Fan Xiang thought that his friendship with Pan Zhaolin, the number one counselor of the Right Prime Minister's Mansion, was not so good. It will make him come to the point of seeing him off. Fan Xiang was even more uneasy that things were so abnormal. He thought of the mission following behind him again, but he held back and didn't look back.Pan Zhaolin walked with him, Fan Xiang didn't know if it was in compliance with the rules, but this kind of etiquette matter must not be neglected, otherwise it will spread and be ginseng, and the consequences will be disastrous.

But he did not dare to offend Pan Zhaolin.Although Pan Zhaolin did not say anything special to him along the way, he just sat on the horse silently and walked slowly. But Fan Xiang knew very well in his heart that Pan Zhaolin would come to see him off, and there must be something wrong. He didn't speak, and Fan Xiang didn't want to worry about guessing. But Fan Xiang couldn't bear it after all. After holding it for a while, he suddenly let out a cry, turned his head to look at Pan Zhaolin, and asked: Mr. Pan, I don't know how your husband's injury is? Zhong Lin must be wondering why I came to see him off.Pan Zhaolin seemed to have no intention of talking about Shi Yue's left arm injury.

I am indeed a little flattered.Fan Xiang said frankly. Pan Zhaolin nodded slightly. He never doubted the words "flattered and overwhelmed", and the country was troubled.Zhong Lin must have heard a lot of rumors? Sir mean? It is rumored everywhere in the capital that the Three Buddhas will collude with the rebellion of the Zhunian Kingdom. There was a hint of sarcasm in Pan Zhaolin's eyes. Some people were worried, saying that Xue Yi took the Three Buddhas lightly, fearing to mislead the court; Hearing this, Fan Xiang almost showed a smile, but he immediately thought of his mission, restrained himself, but couldn't help saying: In my opinion, this is all Xue Lang did on purpose!

oh?Pan Zhaolin suddenly turned to look at Fan Xiang. I heard early on that Xue Yi intends to lobby the imperial court to start a war against the Zhunian Kingdom, but in the end he failed. From a mere point of view, the rebellion of the Three Buddhas is probably a matter of time.Xue Yi didn't take it lightly, he was looking forward to the Sanfo Qi rebellion, so that he could justify his name and make the court agree to his use of troops. The thoughts in Fan Xiang's heart have never had a chance to be expressed to others. After all, he still knows the seriousness. Talking about these in front of others is not good for Xue Yi, but a person like Fan Xiang has a different insight in his heart. But holding it in my heart is also a kind of torture. At this time, he had the opportunity to express himself in front of resourceful people like Pan Zhaolin, and his mood improved a lot.

Zhong Lin is indeed a man of wisdom.Pan Zhaolin glanced at Fan Xiang again, and there was already a hint of approval in his eyes. dare not!Such trivial skills must not be hidden from my husband. If Xianggong had time to think about it, he would naturally be unable to hide it from him.Pan Zhaolin said lightly. Fan Xiang couldn't help being stunned: Mr. Thousands of miles away from the South China Sea, the imperial court is inevitably out of reach. Some things, whether I say it or not, it will happen sooner or later; it doesn't make much difference whether my husband knows it sooner or later.Since this is the case, there is no need to say it earlier, besides, it is just a rumor after all.

That If Xue Yi really took it lightly, he would no longer be qualified to stay in the South China Sea and enjoy his current status.Even if the imperial court punishes him later, it is his own fault; but Xue Yi is not so ineffective, since he did it on purpose, he must have a plan to deal with the aftermath.Originally, there was no need to worry about this matter, but Xue Yi had a lot of calculations, and he never expected that the imperial court would suddenly suffer a national funeral at this time, let alone that Khitan would intend to commit crimes south at this time!Pan Zhaolin snorted, and said: According to the usual practice, the envoys sent to various places to announce the national mourning and the succession of the new emperor can only leave after the funeral.Even if he disregarded etiquette and immediately sent envoys, when Xue Yi knew about these things, Sanfo Qi might have already hummed!Xue Yi's playing with fire this time, if he made a mistake, he would burn himself, and even implicate his family and country!

Fan Xiang was shocked when he heard it, and it was true that Khitan went north to the south, and the three Buddhas in the South China Sea and the Zhuren Kingdom were arguing for chaos. When the time comes, it is self-evident what to keep and where to abandon. The imperial court has managed the South China Sea for more than ten years, and it is only now that it has today's foundation. How can it be destroyed overnight? !Pan Zhaolin suddenly reined in his horse and stopped, his eyes narrowed into a slit revealed a frightening light, don't talk about the South China Sea, the state of the country today is not the time to fight with Khitan. Therefore, when Mr. Xiang asked me who could go to the Liao Kingdom, I thought that apart from Zhang Zihou, Zhonglin was none other than Zhang Zihou. However, Zhang Zihou's official position is too high, so he must attract attention as a mourning envoy, which makes Liao people despise me

It turned out that Fan Xiang hurriedly reined in his horse, and now he finally knew who the culprit who harmed him was. In the time of peace, we must pay attention to etiquette, righteousness, poetry and books, otherwise the mission will inevitably humiliate the country; but when there is an emergency, we cannot use nerds to go on missions. However, I tried to test it just now, but Zhong Lin still couldn't stand it, and he was not the best choice. Pan Zhaolin didn't care about Fan Xiang's self-esteem. What he meant was clearly that Fan Xiang was just making do with it.Fan Xiang felt ashamed and couldn't laugh or cry when he heard it, but he saw Pan Zhaolin pointing at a pavilion far away with a whip, and said: "I will introduce someone to Zhong Lin."Your mission on this trip is to try to introduce this person to Lord Liao or his important ministers quietly. After all, he rode his horse and ran towards the pavilion. Fan Xiang quickly ordered the mission to follow. Inside the pavilion, there was a middle-aged man in his thirties and forties and two boy servants. The men's clothes were very ordinary, but Fan Xiang had long noticed that the three tall horses outside the pavilion, whether they were in Songmozhuang or Yongwang It is rare to see such a tall white horse. In Xiachaiyuan, I met Mr. Fan.Seeing Fan Xiang, the man quickly cupped his fists and saluted. Chai Yuan?Fan Xiang felt that this name seemed to have been heard before, but he didn't have time to think about it at this time. He saw Pan Zhaolin waving his hand to dismiss the two boy servants, and said: "Zhong Lin needs to remember one thing, Chai Yuan is not an envoy of the imperial court. It doesn't matter at all.He is just a profit-seeking businessman who tries to get close to the monarch and ministers of the Liao Kingdom for his own self-interest.Therefore, if the court knows about this matter, even Zhonglin will inevitably be blamed. This kind of request is hard to avoid. But Fan Xiang could tell that Pan Zhaolin didn't want to ask for his permission, but this was his first mission to Liao, and if he wanted to live up to his mission, there would be no Dasu's assistance. If Zhong Lin is not afraid of being questioned after returning to China, he can go to Da Su. I don't need to say how many officials from the official office he has around him.Why not just ask the court directly?Pan Zhaolin didn't wait for Fan Xiang to finish speaking, and sneered mercilessly. But Fan Xiang couldn't care about Pan Zhaolin's sarcasm when he left at this time, and said anxiously: "Okay." He only managed to say a word, but was interrupted by Pan Zhaolin, who went to look for Pu Yancheng. Park Yeon-sung?Fan Xiang wondered. It was Park Yancheng.Pan Zhaolin looked at Fan Xiang with a very impatient look, as if he was unwilling to talk to such a low-intelligence person. Some of the old parties fled to Liao. The so-called centipedes are dead but not stiff. These people are not completely powerless in Korea.Out of complete consideration, the imperial court ordered Pu Yancheng to go to the Liao Kingdom for the purpose of approaching these people secretly, trying to divide them and manipulate them.If you want to recommend Chai Yuan to the monarchs and ministers of the Liao Kingdom, the best strategy is to use these Koreans. Only then did Fan Xiang feel relieved, he didn't ask Pu Yancheng again why there was no staff from the staff house to watch him. There is no doubt that Pu Yancheng must also have a salary in the staff house. But another question popped up in his mind When you arrive in the Liao Kingdom, beware of the Liao Kingdom Communications Bureau.Pan Zhaolin didn't allow him to ask any more questions, turned his head and glanced at Chai Yuan, then left the pavilion, got on his horse and left.Fan Xiang looked at Chai Yuan, then at Pan Zhaolin's back, finally couldn't help it, and smiled wryly. After introducing Chai Yuan to Fan Xiang, Pan Zhaolin rode his horse to Chenqiao Gate to return to the city.At this time, there was still a solemn look in front of Chen Qiao's gate. The soldiers guarding the gates of the city are all wearing filial piety, but the number is more than double than usual, and the interrogation of people entering and leaving the gates is also very strict.Pan Zhaolin couldn't help but shook his head and sighed softly. At this time in previous years, because it was the Lantern Festival, even the outer city gates would be decorated with lanterns and festoons, but this year's Lantern Festival has long been misnamed. The former emperor Zhao Xu ascended to the throne, and the whole country mourned together.Kaifeng Mansion is at the foot of the Son of Heaven, so naturally we can't be sloppy. The city of Bianjing was already filled with mourning yesterday. These things are nothing new to the people of Bianjing. In the past twenty years, including Zhao Xu, many people have experienced three The death of the emperor. What really made the whole Bianjing feel like an enemy and the people panic was the Shideyi riot on the night of the 8th. The incident that night was quelled within two hours, and did not cause much damage to Fangshi. At the time of the incident, most of the citizens knew nothing about it, except for some residents in the inner city and the north of the new city. .However, after the rebellion was put down, the scope of his influence made thousands of households in Bianjing feel uneasy. It is true that Shi De's first-class masterminds all died in the suppression of the rebellion, but those involved in the rebellion included the entire Imperial City Division and some of the squadrons. Most of these people, especially the soldiers of the imperial city, are natives of Kaifeng! The soldiers in front of Chen Qiao's gate were searching for those who slipped through the net and participated in the rebellion. It was yesterday, that is, in the early morning of the 9th, Prime Minister Sima Guang read out the legacy of the late emperor in front of the Funing Hall.Immediately afterwards, he ordered that Yan Da, the deputy commander in front of the hall, guard the east gate of Sunei, and Ren Duo Baozhong, Yang Shifang, and Tian Liewu guard the outside of Su Funing Hall. , the inner city, and the outer city gates, and temporarily ordered Li Xiang'an and other servants to take over the affairs of the imperial city department. Since the founding of the Song Dynasty, the new emperor ascended the throne and increased troops to serve as guards. This is the ancestral practice. However, it is unusual for Yan Da, the deputy commander in front of the hall, to guard the inner east gate, because according to the etiquette, the courtiers go to the Funing Hall, the ministers and officials go through the arched door, and the prince's clan goes through the inner east gate! Pan Zhaolin knew that Yan Da was also a famous general of the Xining Dynasty. He was born in the Western Army. Since then, he was transferred to Sanya, and he has been in the capital ever since. He failed to catch up with the campaign against Xia. He was promoted to the deputy commander in front of the palace, he is a confidant of Emperor Daxing, and he is well-known in the army, so he was ordered to stay outside the inner east gate, and the intention was to warn the princes and clans. Outside the palace, Han Zhongyan was looking for clues, separately searching for the soldiers who participated in the rebellion, and ordering the troops to patrol and keep an eye on their family members. Even the amnesty of the world could not save them. Pan Zhaolin had already seen the amnesty of the world announced this morning. The German accent, which clearly states: Except for the crime of treason! Thinking of this, Pan Zhaolin couldn't help frowning tightly.Of course, he was not sympathizing with those rebels and their families, but thought of the real mastermind of this mutiny, King Yong Zhao Hao. Shi Deyi, Shi Congrong and others were regarded as the masterminds, and they had already subdued the law on the night of the incident; those who might have just followed blindly or were under duress were also searched and arrested everywhere. But how to deal with King Yong has changed a very delicate matter. In addition to King Yong's disorderly behavior that night, leaving the palace without permission, which is difficult to clear away, most of the leaders who participated in the rebellion were killed during the incident, and a few leaders who escaped by chance were also executed by Han Zhongyan after being arrested.Han Zhongyan presided over the search of these people's houses, and reported afterwards that there was no evidence to prove that the rebellion was related to King Yong!At the same time, the safety of Prince Yong's Mansion in Xianyifang was also replaced by Yu Longguduozhi, one of Empress Dowager Gao's personal guards. Waiter, accompanied Zhao Hao day and night. All these signs indicate that there are powerful forces in the court who want to save King Yong's life. The reason why Pan Zhaolin didn't even bother to think about it was that he could name 30 or 50 casually, whether it was for the dignity of the royal family, for the face of the court, or for the Empress Dowager Gao. Canon punishment is impossible. It is even unknown whether Zhao Hao will be given to commit suicide. Han Zhongyan said privately to Shi Yue that even though King Yong had done it, it was not the actions of loyal ministers to make Empress Dowager Gao kill his son and Zhao Yu kill his uncle. And Han Zhongyan's proposition cannot be said to be unreasonable. What's more, everyone in the court knows that King Yong is the most beloved son of Empress Dowager Gao. Now that Empress Dowager Gao is hanging down the curtain, even important officials who know the inside story cannot help but have their own schemes.Han Zhongyan made such a great contribution, and his father was Han Qi, a hero in the two dynasties, so he dared not avoid suspicion. If so, Han Zhongyan's actions in the past few days have already amazed the civil and military officials of the Manchu Dynasty, and even Pan Zhaolin and Shi Yue were amazed. But it is even more impossible for others to have no scruples. If you want to put Zhao Hao to death, you will definitely not be treated much by Empress Dowager Gao in the future; Although the little emperor does not dare to disobey Empress Dowager Gao now, is it possible that Empress Dowager Gao will live a long life? When the little emperor grows up and takes charge of the government, there is no guarantee that he will not settle accounts after the fall. The longer he endures now, the more ruthless his revenge will be in the future! Pan Zhaolin couldn't help but think again in his heart: Although Zhao Xu died, there were still officials in the two mansions who were loyal to him.The attendant Wang Anshi and the military minister Sun Gu both received Zhao Xu's kindness, they are old, their fame is high, they have nothing to ask for, and they are not afraid of offending the Empress Dowager Gao, so they are deeply concerned about Zhao Hao's rebellion. Geng Geng, never willing to let it go.It's just that the two of them have no evidence, so they can't make a fuss about it.Except for Han Zhongyan, Fan Chunren and Yushi Zhongcheng Liu Zhi all wanted to save Zhao Hao's life. For the rest of the people, although Sima Guang's attitude was unclear, Pan Zhaolin believed that he did not want to kill Zhao Hao either. Moreover, he is the prime minister, and as a rule, he is appointed as the envoy of the mountain mausoleum, and the edict will be promulgated before the funeral is completed, so he has enough excuses to make a decision before making a move. However, although Wang Gui, Minister of the Ministry of Officials, had no success in suppressing the rebellion, he was frightened by Shi Deyi's imprisonment when he entered the palace, so he couldn't afford to get sick. The six Tuogu ministers selected by Zhao Xu, seeing that he has just been promoted, one will be missing.Wang Gui has never had a strong opinion in his actions all his life, and he will not force himself at this time. As for Han Wei, Su Zhe, and Li Qingchen, Han Wei wanted to spare Zhao Hao rationally, but he was a minister of Zhao Xu's hidden residence after all, and his resentment towards Zhao Hao can be imagined; It has nothing to do with his interests, and he has no emotional ties. He has not been back to Beijing for a long time, and his status is not fixed. At this time, it is not surprising that Shi Yue is the leader. Among the governors of the two governments, his position is the least consolidated. Although he supports the new law, he has no old relationship with Wang Anshi and other new party figures. He was promoted by Zhao Xu alone. However, his political achievements in Taifu Temple were still criticized by others. At this time, I don't know how many people are eyeing his position. Under this situation, with Li Qingchen's character, he will definitely be more cautious and avoid right and wrong. The important officials in the court have their own thoughts, so Shi Yue's attitude on this matter should be cautious. Shi Yuegui is the right chancellor and a minister of Tuogu. He has a long history of prestige in the Central Plains of the court. He has made great achievements in suppressing the rebellion. What's more, Wang and Ma have different opinions this time! Although, even Pan Zhaolin couldn't figure out Shi Yue's attitude on these matters, but Pan Zhaolin felt that he was obliged to plan everything for Shi Yue in advance. However, when Pan Zhaolin returned to Shifu, Shi Yue was meeting Sang Chongguo, Wu Conglong, and Cao Youwen on the sickbed. This Wu Conglongyuan is also Chen Liang's old acquaintance, he is the most proficient in the study of etiquette and rules, and he has long been under Shi Yue's sect. But since he became an official, because of his mediocre staff and being implicated by Shi Yue, he has wandered around the prefectures and counties for more than ten years, and has been difficult to be promoted. It wasn't until Shi Yue regained power and Chen Liang spoke for Shi Yue that he finally reminded Shi Yue that there was such a person as him, and transferred him to be the head of Honglu Temple. He arrived in Beijing three days ago to take up his new post, just to avoid the national funeral. Pan Zhaolin didn't know how these three people got together, but Shi Yue commanded the suppression of the rebellion in Funing Hall on the evening of the eighth, and his left arm was injured. That night, he suddenly fainted on the way back home. The imperial physician was sent to the palace for diagnosis and treatment, and Shi Yue was allowed to rest for a day. In this day's leisure, Shi Yue would see Sang Chongguo and other idlers again.Seeing that Chen Liang and Shi Jian didn't stop them, Pan Zhaolin was on the sidelines instead, talking and laughing at Yan Yan, feeling even more displeased, curled his lips, walked to Shi Yue's couch, didn't speak, picked a chair and sat down . When everyone saw him coming in, except Shi Yue, they all got up and saluted immediately.Shi Yue didn't notice that Pan Zhaolin's expression was wrong, he just nodded slightly, then turned to Sang Chongguo and the others and said: Mr. Pan is also one of his own, so there is no need to be formal.Changqing, you continue to talk about the north-south theory, and let Mr. Pan comment Sang Chongguo nodded, looked at Pan Zhaolin again, and said: I just heard Cao Yuanwai talk about the prosperity of talents in Zhejiang and Zhejiang, and I remembered the north-south discussion of a few Fujian students a few days ago. Speaking of Jinshi, because this year is the year of the provincial examination, some good people in the college posted a big table, which listed the number of champions in various fields since Emperor Taizu. A war of words ended. champion?Wu Conglong smiled from the side and said: During the reign of Emperor Daxing, there were six literary champions. Xu Anshi was the champion in the fourth year of Zhiping. Shi Yan is from Kaifeng, and the rest are all from the south. Since Renzong, there have been many scholars in Fujian, no wonder they are proud He was just showing off, but he saw Sang Chongguo shook his head, and couldn't help but wonder: Could it be that I made a mistake? Ziyun remembered well.Sang Chongguo paid attention to Wu Conglong, and said: "However, since the founding of the state, most of the champions are from the north."Not only the number of champions, the number of Jinshi and the number of ministers, the number of ministers of the two governments, and even the lucky ones who were lucky enough to enter the National History Museum to enshrine the sages, the northerners are far ahead. And the famous ministers and generals of this dynasty are mostly from the north.Since the Kingdom of China, northerners have always had prejudices against southerners. This is also well known. A virtuous man like Fan Wenzheng, although he is a southerner, has always regarded himself as a northerner; Yingzhou settles down, but has a lot of complaints about Sangzi. Southerners are especially bad at fighting, and most of the imperial guards are from the north. Indeed.Wu Conglong's face turned slightly red, and he said anxiously: I remember Qingli expanded the forbidden army, some of the forbidden soldiers of the Tiger Wing Army were from Nanzhong, cowardly and weak, Ziyun didn't know how to fight, and they were afraid of death when they saw bandits. Now that the Tiger Wing Army has been reorganized, although most of them are selected from Nanzhong, the custom in the army has been passed down, and Nanzhong people are not used to this day. What else?It was the first time Shi Yue heard of it. True.Chen Liang couldn't help but said that although the Tiger Wing Army today has little to do with the Tiger Wing Army in the past, it is an unwritten rule of the Tiger Wing Army not to be like Nanzhong people. Sang Chongguo said again: those Fujian students were originally from West Lake College.Because of these north-south prejudices, they were ridiculed.Unexpectedly, this led to a high-level discussion. Pan Zhaolin pursed his lips and sneered: In the history of North-South disputes, the northerners often scolded the southerners for being cunning and cowardly, while the southerners scolded the northerners for being unwise. What else can be said? Sang Chongguo turned his eyes to Pan Zhaolin, and said in a gentle voice: What Mr. Pan said is just the general situation. If we talk about the dispute between the North and the South, it can be regarded as a major event in this dynasty, ranging from the perception of the common people to the decision of the temple, the North-South dispute runs through it all. That is, the discord between Junshi and Lu Jifu is all due to political opinions? Therefore, I think that the theories of those few students are quite in the middle. Then I really want to listen carefully!Pan Zhaolin's disdain was beyond words. Sang Chongguo was not angry either, he just looked at Pan Zhaolin and said, "I heard that Mr. Pan is also proficient in the study of Heluo, from watching the stars to watching the wind, to measuring characters and reading people."Everything.Dare I ask, sir, have you ever heard of the earth's air moving southward? Pan Zhaolin snorted and didn't even bother to answer. Among the people present, only Shi Jian knew little about it, because he asked with great interest: What is the southward movement of the earth's energy? The southward movement of the earth's qi was calculated by people who are proficient in Yili.Chen Liang explained that the aura of heaven and earth was originally in the northwest, so my China originated in the northwest. Both the Han and Tang Dynasties were strong and prosperous with their capitals in the northwest. , the southeast has a royal air, and the southern people are gradually flourishing. Mr. Zirou said it well.Sang Chongguo continued, "We Han people are actually descendants of the Zhou people, and they flourished in the northwest. For thousands of years, the outstanding people in the northwest have been crowned all over the world. China was born and prospered here. However, since the Han and Jin Dynasties, there have been people It is thought that the atmosphere of the earth has gradually shifted to the southeast. The few students thought that this theory may not be all about strange powers and gods, and that the earth's energy is not a Confucian statement, so it is not credible. However, the south is gradually prosperous, and the north is stagnant, but it is also an indisputable fact. And this great change since the beginning of the world happened in this dynasty. However, they attribute this to the prosperity of education Taking this dynasty as an example, at the beginning of the founding of the country, most of the top scholars, Jinshi, and famous ministers and generals came from the north. However, after Renzong, the prosperity of the people in the south has gradually been comparable to that in the north. By the time of the emperor Daxing , has surpassed the trend. And the most prosperous places for southern talents are Min, Shu, Chu, Wuyue Among these four places, Fujian has the largest book printing industry in the world. Although the paper quality of Fujian books is poor, there are often corruptions, and it is easy to be criticized by scholars. However, Fujian is the country that prints the most books every year. Since Xining, Bianjing, Hangzhou The development of the book printing industry is astonishing, but in the end it cannot win the title of the best-selling book in Fujian. The reason for this is not just that Min Shu is cheap.Min people love to read a lot. Since Ouyang Zhan and Xu Yin, Min Middle School has become more and more popular in lecturing.During the Five Dynasties, the Central Plains was busy fighting wars, while the scholars of Minzhong were busy borrowing books and reading in the Yanshou Wanjuan Library. Mr. Pan and Mr. Zirou have both traveled the world and have extensive knowledge. You should know that what I said is true. Even in Fujian today Ordinary farmers, when farming, there are many people who are endorsing the book; during the Xining period, the imperial court almost ordered soldiers in Fujian as households, but because Min Zhong was studying in every household, most of the soldiers selected were juzi!Everyone here knows this.Such a grand occasion, in today's world, I am afraid that it can only be seen in Fujian. Because of the accumulation of more than one hundred years, after the Taiping rejuvenated the country, there were hundreds of Jinshi among Fujian people, and there were many ministers and generals. In Xining, there were many famous ministers and generals in the court. Of the six literary champions at the time, three were from Fujian Pan Zhaolin nodded solemnly, and said: Yes, there is another Fujianese. Sang Chongguo knew his temper, but ignored his sarcasm, and continued: "I don't understand the theory of earth qi, yin and yang are easy to reason, and I don't know anything about Hetu Luoshu."However, after Zhenzong in this dynasty, there was a sudden explosion of scholars in Minzhong, and there were a large number of talents, showing signs of becoming more and more prosperous. It should be attributed to the accumulation of education in the past one to two hundred years since the Five Dynasties. To make the people of one road and one state rich, decades, or even more than ten years can be successful; however, it is true that hundreds of years of accumulation are necessary for the civilization and prosperity of one road and one state. Shi Yue glanced at Sang Chongguo, he had vaguely guessed Sang Chongguo's intentions in his heart, but he still couldn't help but praise: Changqing's words are very true. Sang Chongguo said again: Fujian has the most printed books, the most popular collection of books among the people, and there are so many people who read them. You don't need to know the southward movement of the earth, but you can also know why Fujian's talents prospered in this dynasty. And Shuzhong is similar, but when it comes to accumulation, it has a longer history, dating back to the time when Wenweng ruled Shu in the Han Dynasty. Since the Han and Tang Dynasties, although Shuzhong has produced a large number of talents, it can be said to be unique in the south, but in the end it cannot compare with the original. The prosperity of talents in Chaoshu.Fujian is known to have poems and books at home, households keep laws, and officials and ministers look at each other. However, the prosperity of education in this dynasty in central Sichuan is slightly inferior to that of Fujian.I still remember when I was a child in my hometown, every night, every family would light up lamps, and the sound of reciting could be heard. It's just that the prefectures and prefectures in central Sichuan are quite different. For example, in Chengdu and Meizhou, there are few officials in the market, who can also write articles, and even many actors are familiar with classics and history. In Meizhou, the magistrate even advised the people not to just study and forget to farm; but in some counties, some people didn't even know how to count. This is also the reason why Shu is not as good as Min. However, the biggest feature of education in Sichuan is also that other people are not as good as others, that is, women in Sichuan are more knowledgeable. It is precisely because women know more about books that they urge their children to study frequently. This may be the reason for the abundance of talents in Sichuan.Sang Chongguo was originally from Shu, so when talking about his hometown, he is naturally quite proud. Shi Yue couldn't help nodding his head when he heard it, but he couldn't help thinking in his heart that at that time Shu scholars were good at writing but not good at officials. Was it also related to this? Seeing Shi Yue's approval, Sang Chongguo was even more excited. Therefore, I am also very much in favor of letting girls study, not to mention other things, just think about it, if all mothers in the world can read and write, how can there be sons who can't read? This statement makes sense. At this time, even Chen Liang couldn't help agreeing. As for Jiangxi and Liangzhe, the academies and book collections in these two places are prosperous, not to mention. The people of Jiangnan West Road are beautiful and capable of writing. In other places, being able to write articles is already very enviable; but in Jiangxi, if you can only write articles, it is not worth mentioning.Wenzong of this dynasty, if Su Zizhan did not come out of Shu, let alone the southeast, even the whole world combined would not be as good as the people of Jiangxi. The prosperity of talents in Jiangxi is also due to the prosperity of its academies. The government-run state schools and county schools on Jiangxi Road, as well as private academies and colleges, are scattered all over the place, innumerable, and they had already taken shape long before Xining When Chen Liang heard this, he couldn't help interjecting: I'm afraid it has something to do with Jiangxi's folk customs. When he thought of this, a smile could not help showing on the corner of his mouth. Shi Yue heard that there was something unsatisfactory in his words, so he couldn't help asking: How do you say this? I know what Mr. Zirou means.Sang Chongguo couldn't help laughing, he looked at Shi Yue with a puzzled face, and explained: I heard from students in Jiangxi that people in Jiangxi are prone to litigation, but if there is a little dispute, they have to go to the yamen to solve it.Many local people carry pens and paper with them at all times, and when they encounter disputes, they will immediately record the evidence. Moreover, in Jiangxi, there are the most people who are familiar with laws and regulations. Therefore, it is considered that it is most difficult for people in other places to study in Jiangxi to be an official. The best-selling book in Jiangxi is not the "Thirteen Classics" or "The Analects of Confucius", but "Deng Sixian", a book that teaches law and litigation.Jiangxi's village school uses this book to teach students. The Litigation School and Yezui Club on Jiangnan West Road are famous all over the world, and Shi Yue has heard of it, but this is the first time he has heard that the people on Jiangxi Road have such a sense of law. It was only then that he suddenly realized: No wonder so many people are suspicious Wang Anshi's academic politics is biased towards Legalism. But these words, of course, cannot be said out loud. Sang Chongguo didn't know that Shi Yue had thought of his father-in-law, so he asked Chen Liangdao: "Mr. Zirou wants to talk about this?" Chen Liang nodded, and said with a smile: I have been to Jiangxi, and if those new scholars are sent to Jiangxi to become officials, they will all complain. When it comes to criminal laws and regulations, not to mention the Yibi people who specialize in lawsuits in the Yezui Society, they are ordinary people, and these Jinshi can't speak against them. There are often those who are rendered speechless or even irritated by the people in the courtroom. Sang Chongguo smiled and said: This is actually not surprising.Among all walks of life, the people who like to litigate the most are the people of Min, Shu, Chu, Wu and Yue, but Jiangxi is particularly popular. This is probably not accidental.Generally speaking, where education is prosperous in a place, talents are prosperous, and this dynasty has always established the country with the rule of law, and the people are literate, so they naturally care about laws and regulations. Is the Fujian Road mentioned earlier, not the law of Jiazang?Confucianists in the north think that this is not conducive to the integrity of customs and is not a matter of prosperity, but I think Xiaosu's participation in politics is right. Although there are many lawsuits in these places, it is better than people in some places fighting with weapons. What's more, in order for the people to abide by the law, they must first let the people know the law, and this matter should not be given up because of choking.Like Jiangxi, it is a special case after all. At this point, he changed the subject and said: In fact, what can best prove the merits of education is the situation of Liangzhe Road. The land of Wuyue was originally rich in civilization, but at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, although Wuyue was prosperous, its education was not prosperous. Hangzhou was known as the first state in the southeast, and there were only more than 200 people in the state school in Xining's early years. However, after Ziming defended Hangzhou, the imperial court revitalized the school. For more than ten years, the prosperity of West Lake College was almost comparable to that of Baishuitan. The literacy rates of Hangzhou and Liangzhe Road are also among the top in the country!I dare to assert that after 20 or 30 years, Liangzhe Road will win the most champions in the southeast; Liangzhe Road will win the most champions in the world, and it will not be Jingdong and Kaifeng. The people of Wuyue are clever and intelligent by nature. With the accumulation of thousands or hundreds of years elsewhere, they only need to work hard for decades, and they will not be far behind. Sang Chongguo sighed for a while, and then Fang said: "In addition to these four places, Jinghu North Road is just a counterexample. In the history of Jingbei Road, there used to be a large number of talented people, but they did not know when they declined. Since this dynasty, there have been a few famous ministers on Hubei Road, which is all due to the fact that the legacy has not been cut off.Correspondingly, the prosperity of education on Hubei Road today is not even as good as Jing South Road. Now the only place with better education on Hubei Road is Yuezhou, which is the legacy of Teng Yuanfa.Since the reconstruction of Yuelu Academy in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Hunan Road has become a popular place for lectures. After the promulgation of the Xining Xing School Edict, although Hunan is still far behind Fujian, Shu, Wu and Chu, it can be regarded as a rising star among the roads in the southeast. You can also look forward to it in the future. Compared with the deteriorating rivers and rivers on Hubei Road, I don’t know how much better it is From this point of view, the so-called southward movement of the earth's energy can only exist and be ignored.Hubei Road is also in the south, and the earth's air is moving southward, so why doesn't it favor Hubei alone? And roads such as Hunan, Guangnan East and West, and Qianzhou, are they not the south? Why doesn't the earth's qi move there?Prosperous places in the south, such as Minshu, one east and one west, separated by thousands of miles, but forget the north and south of Jinghu Lake in the middle? This method of moving the earth's energy to the south is too unpredictable. In fact, the same principle can also be used in the north.Among the roads in the northwest, Bianjing and Jingdong Road have the most schools, so these two places have the most champions and the most talented people. For the rest of the roads, the land was dilapidated after the Anshi Rebellion, and the people were trapped in wars and hard labor. How could there be spare energy to run schools? If one disappears and the other grows, it is inevitable that there will be a theory that the earth's energy will move southward. After Xining established the school edict, Shaanxi Road School was the best. This is all due to the contributions of Ziming and Fan Chunren. Therefore, I think that the future of Shaanxi may not be able to revive the old view of the Han and Tang Dynasties. Sang Chongguo originally only came to visit Shi Yue's injury, but because everyone was chatting and talking about the difference between the north and the south, he talked about it at this time, from the prosperity of the south to the contribution of education. All the people here are outstanding people of the moment, thinking of Sang Chongguo's consistent views, after hearing it, they all naturally know his dazzling voice. With Sang Chongguo's temperament, this is really the biggest detour he can get around. What Zhang Qing said is right, in this world, some things seem to be fate, but in fact they are still just human affairs.Shi Yue took over the words, but, Changqing, although a politician cannot be without foresight, he should not be too farsighted either. If your eyes look too far, it is easy to forget the stones under your feet. oh?how do I say this? husband?
