這首蹩腳的祝壽詩，是這位外交官詩人函托熙大臣代奏的。熙大臣想來就是熙洽了。據溥儀說，林出賢次郎為他寫過一本扈從東遊記之類的書，書名可能記錯。後來我查明是扈從訪日恭記。原信中還有一段歌頌：伏維皇帝春秋鼎盛，神武聰明。邦基有萬年之長，政業似丘山之重。臣民安緝，咸蒙雨露之恩；宵旰勤勞，宜享康強之福！賢本外臣，久叨聖眷，騰歡舉國，望北闕而心殷；慨慕遐方，頌南山之□【（左憤去賁）（右因）】切。這位外臣還表示要敬乞閣下舞蹈之餘，從容奏呈，不勝感激之至呢！ 好一個關心滿洲國之命運的外賓。請問所謂雨露之恩，所謂康強之福，這些究竟在哪裡？偽滿洲國果真如它的執政宣言所說以道義和仁愛為基礎的嗎？只要會唱歌的人重哼一遍松花江上，愛看小說的人再讀幾頁女作家蕭紅的生死場，大概就可以明白了。 會做肉麻文章的決不祇這位外臣。自署為滿洲帝國宮內府大臣的沈瑞麟，在一九三五年就洋洋灑灑地撰了一篇皇上乾德恭記，簡直非要把溥儀捧到天宮去不可。我們看了溥儀的自白以後，再從頭到尾讀一遍這罕見的文獻，也是很有趣的。全文照錄如下： 自古創業垂統之君，必有建中立極之德，以肇造區宇而統御羣倫。蓋天縱神明，獨殊凡眾，深居修省，迥異師儒，所謂帝王自有真也。我皇上天生聖德，裕於沖年。英博士莊士敦所著禁苑熹光①一書，述之備矣。迨至滿洲建國，皇上就任執政，則有胡嗣瑗所譔之執政起居恭紀。康德御極之元，文教部刊行，普及建國精神之教育資料。瑞麟曾述今上起居恭紀，未能詳也。今茲四月初旬，以日滿兩國，邦交關繫，御駕東巡，將訪問大日本國天皇陛下，修睦聯歡，意至重也。日本朝野上下，皆表示極端之歡迎與至誠之敬禮，而於我皇上乾德，無不願聞其詳，用復敬謹譔成斯記，正式布聞，俾瞻就者得以觀焉。 上勤學不倦，宮中行坐，常以書籍自隨。午膳及晚膳後，暇即披覽，多屬唐人詩文宋儒理學諸書，近時書報及各種雜誌，亦無不涉獵及之。夙嫻英文，喜研究英國歷史憲政，有新出名著，亦必購求閱覽。 上擅篇什，上年 巡狩奉天，有四言宸章。 巡幸旅順，有五言宸章。平時晚間無事，間有吟詠，亦或作文，以發攄聖意。 上善書法，日必臨摹古帖與列聖御筆。時寫擘窠榜書，龍翔鳳翥，筆勢飛動，賞賜臣下及外國人士，無不珍為至寶，上年文化展覽會，御書乾坤正氣四字，大皆逾尺，瞻覽者皆欽服不已。 上寫英文，亦極優美，莊士敦最所稱道。平時未暇學畫，偶然弄筆遣興。意境超妙，非畫家所及也。 上不事嬉游，然於運動衛生，亦加意注重；日常沐浴一次，晨起及午膳後，必散步院中，吐故納新，雖天氣嚴寒時，亦不間斷。時復騎馬，以舒御體。晚間無事，偶一聽無線電。 上每日清晨即起，早九鐘御緝熙樓西便殿，披閱章奏，召見臣下及外國人士，遲至下午一時，始進午膳。傍晚時臣下請奏對，立即召入。有亟需勅裁事件，無不隨時裁決。止於四五鐘時，略事休憩。至晚九鐘，始御寢宮。 起居皆有定程，蓋終歲無或易也。 上服御儉樸，即位之後，宮中一切供奉，未嘗有所增改。所居緝熙樓，僅略加修耳，只勤民樓改為殿座，以備朝會之用。上年秋間，始增修懷遠樓，以為宴享之所。此外皆因陋就簡，未事興築。國務院需用處請添修御花園，擬具計劃書，需費百餘萬圓，上以用度浩繁，不允所請。
