Chapter 19 19

Thursday is our day, and on those days he would come to see me.Closing my eyes, I could see him open the garden gate by the road and start walking down the gravel path towards me.I remember feeling that warmth in my heart that spread throughout my body.He always carefully wiped the soil from the soles of his shoes on the mat in front of the door.Dear Lord!This is love, not sin.Love, as you have taught us.I thank You for letting me go through this. Every time he comes, I will tidy up the house beautifully, as people expect in their hearts.I want him to understand how much I long to see him.Each time, I hoped that he would not leave, but it was impossible to stay, so he always left at four o'clock in the afternoon.Every time the clock struck four o'clock, I knew that I would have to wait seven days and seven endless nights before me, and I would be full of longing to see him.Now, my whole life is like a night like this.

Yet I thank you, God, for your guidance.You have shown me what to do to help him enter Your realm, so I can be quite sure that when my time comes, he will be there because of me.Thank you, God, for allowing me to be Your helper in that secret work of righting the wrongs of injustice on Earth. Oh God!I tell you a mystery.We will not all rest but in one moment, in the blink of an eye, at the final trumpet sound, we will all be changed.Trumpets will sound, the dead will rise and become immortal, and we will change.For this perishable quality must become immortal, and this mortal quality must become immortal, and then will experience the words written in Scripture: Death is swallowed up by victory.

oh!die!Where is your victory? oh!die!Where is your stinger? The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.But thank God He has given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Oh, God!I also long to thank you for your protection.Instead of leaving me alone to face my task, You sent that woman to shelter me.You gave her a divine purpose and allowed her to atone for her sin.For this, I thank You.Lord God! Amen!
