Chapter 26 Twelve, Grain Rain

Journey of Wisdom 朱邦復 13881Words 2023-02-05
computer, Chinese, materials, returning home One day, I witnessed the publishing process of a book at work. From the original manuscript to the workshop, it only took twelve hours from typing, proofreading, finishing the manuscript, printing, binding to sending it to the bookstall for sale! This incident had an unparalleled impact on me, and it can be said that it completely changed the direction of my life.Looking back now, there seems to be a strict quality control process for human growth.Step by step, one ring after another, not at all uncomfortable. After careful analysis, it is not difficult to find that people's judgment, willpower, creativity, etc. are all in sync with the process of mentality construction.

If this incident had happened before my enlightenment, the result and meaning would have been very different.Whether a person's mentality is mature or not depends on the work he can do. Small use of small success, great use of great success. The ancients said: Great things bloom late, although late blooming may not necessarily be great things. Throughout history, all achievements that have a profound impact on future generations are all done after people's minds mature. I am well aware of the predicament of the domestic publishing industry. Due to the large number of Chinese characters, typesetting is usually used. The typesetting room should have a large area to store a large amount of lead type, and even copper molds should be provided to cast incomplete and insufficient fonts at any time. The lead type version is clumsy and heavy, and skilled workers cannot arrange one version in a day.If you want to modify the content or adjust the chapters, it will take a lot of effort. Therefore, general manuscripts must try to accommodate the layout, and keep it simple.

Generally speaking, if it is a book of one or two hundred pages, it takes two to three months for the first row; another two or three months for the proof edition. It will take nearly a year for the entire book to be scheduled for printing and completed. If Chinese only needs twelve hours, the latest knowledge can be immediately passed on to the public, and a quarter of the world's population can be freed from ignorance and ignorance, how meaningful it will be! It was one morning, and when I got to the office, Miranda wasn't there. No wonder, since I took all the responsibility on my shoulders, he doesn't have much to do.

At eight o'clock, the editorial department sent an official document with a thick stack of typescripts attached, and asked me to sign for it.I signed it, and before I left, that person gave another order very carefully: Don't forget, it will be listed at 8:00 pm! Fortunately, his words opened a skylight for me, and I entered a brand new world from then on. What?Is this book coming out at eight o'clock in the evening?I can't believe my ears. how? This is an urgent requirement!Don't you know?Where are you in charge? I am in charge today.I can't say that Miranda is late.

good! Then you just follow the rules. After he left, I hurried to check the homework manual, and sure enough, it stipulated that urgent work should be completed within twelve hours!I kept thinking in my heart, how is it possible? But it is indeed written like this, in black and white, it is not wrong at all!It must be that I cleaned the door by myself. I usually don't care about all the affairs and don't pay attention to the whole operation process. So, I carefully wrote down all the work procedures, and followed them up with all my strength, so I must know the mystery. According to the process, first I went to the typing room downstairs. There are twenty electric typewriters inside, and there is a typist at each seat.I took the official document, asked the person in charge of the typing room to sign it, and handed over the manuscript to him at the same time.He seemed to be used to it, and without asking a word, he immediately asked all the ladies to stop their current work. Then divide the manuscripts in hand into one pile in the east and one pile in the west until the manuscripts are finished.

Next, I should inform the proofreading office first, and tell them that there is an urgent 300,000-word letter, and it is a novel. As soon as the proofreading room heard the news, it immediately started to organize. Who should I contact?Who will look for it?etc. The third step is to finish the artwork. Since it is a book, the downstairs team should be responsible for this part.I went down to notify them, and they first pasted the cover, labels, page numbers, etc. on a large transparent acrylic plate with various formats in accordance with the format specified by the editorial department. At that time, as long as the printed sample is obtained, the version can be assembled.

Everything was ready, and Miranda also came. After I reported to him, he smiled and said: Looks like it's time for me to abdicate. Before ten o'clock in the morning, part of the proofreading draft from the typing room arrived, about fifty pages long.I immediately sent it to the proofreading room, and they had already arranged it. As soon as the manuscript was received, they would work in groups of two, one reading and one proofreading, and working. At twelve o'clock, the first large sample has been made, and I will send it downstairs to make a plate immediately. The so-called plate making is actually to take photos of the original manuscripts and print them on a large transparent celluloid plate. The layout, page numbers, etc. on the board have been completed, and it is only waiting for the artists to align the cross marks on each board and paste them on the fully opened master board.

At about 4 o'clock in the afternoon, all the plate making was completed, and I sent it to the printing department.I was relieved until the person in charge signed for it, and said to the head of the printing department: Listed at 8:00 p.m., it's up to you! The company got off work at 5:30, and after dinner, I drove to a book stand closest to the company and waited to see when the book would be released at 8 o'clock. In fact, before eight o'clock, a large company truck came rumbling from far to near.Seeing that the car was approaching the bookstall, the speed did not slow down at all.At the rear of the car was a man holding an iron chain with both hands, and a bundle of books lying at his feet.Just as the car drove past the bookstall, I suddenly heard a long beeping of the horn, and then I saw the man kicked his foot, and the book fell to the ground. The person at the bookstall picked up the bundle of books, and I went over to have a look, and it was right, it was that book!

This is the age of knowledge!Everyone knows that knowledge is power, how to turn knowledge into power? The first step must be to make knowledge a tool familiar to the majority, because a country or a nation cannot have only a few privileged intellectuals.Otherwise, the majority who lack knowledge will become the slaves of the few who have it. How can knowledge become a tool used by the majority? In order to gain knowledge, you must first invest time and energy.Based on the characteristics of human nature, people expect to get something back after making an investment.Knowledge will only be valued if it is made valuable in itself, once people can profit from it.

There are two kinds of value of knowledge, one is practical value, which is beyond doubt. However, the time and space in which individuals live are limited, and the knowledge possessed by individuals is bound to have limited efficacy. If knowledge can be transformed into commodities, that is, knowledge will be recorded and printed into books, then everyone can obtain knowledge through reading.Knowledge owners who record knowledge into books can also benefit from a large amount of marketing, which is the value of knowledge dissemination. In the end, the most important fundamental problem came to the surface. If the efficiency of publishing and printing is not high, the above-mentioned ideals are empty words, and it will be difficult to achieve!

Since then, I have put in a lot of effort to thoroughly examine the problem, and finally found that the bottleneck of Chinese printing lies entirely in the Chinese text retrieval system.I myself is the best example. When I was studying in school, what I was most afraid of was looking up the Chinese dictionary. Eight out of ten times I didn’t know where to start. The reason is that Chinese has no concept of ordinal, at least, no one has established a Chinese ordinal. Pinyin characters are like English, because there are only 26 letters, the sequence is easy to remember. Then, according to the order of each letter, each vocabulary composed of letters has an absolute order.Chinese is not the case. Too many characters are one of the factors; and characters have evolved from graphics. Although they have a strong expressive ability, they are difficult to classify. Not only is it difficult to arrange the order in the dictionary, but also in the typesetting process, since the retrieval of typefaces depends entirely on the workers' rote memorization, the efficiency is also low. I believe that as long as there is a sequence of Chinese characters, other homework processes can be easily solved. So, I made up my mind that if I can't find an ideal solution, I will never stop. In Brazil, there are very few Chinese reference materials, and I can only analyze them one by one based on the words I know.I think that the alphabetic typewriter keyboard has almost become the international standard, and the Chinese character sequence should never be unconventional.Another design not only violates the economic principles, but also will lead to difficulties in future communication and compatibility. In addition, in the process of use, numbers and various symbols are as important as words, so they should not be used arbitrarily.Under the restriction of these conditions, the keys that can be provided to the Chinese arrangement sequence on the keyboard are limited to twenty-six letter keys. This is an unprecedented challenge, but fortunately, I ignore success or failure, regardless of my own interests, think and study with peace of mind, and constantly deliberate between words every day, without any hindrance. After several months of groping, using only one or two thousand characters as an example, I have found a rule that can be coded with twenty-six letters.Although there are tens of thousands of Chinese characters, but in the current environment of crude and simple, there has been a little harvest.I am sure that as long as you keep working hard, it will not be difficult to get the desired results. As long as a person has a strength, he also has a weakness. I know it very well, but I can't improve it.Later, I got used to it, so I had to comfort myself, it is not bad to have one advantage, how can people be perfect?Fortunately, I also understand that I must find a way to make up for my shortcomings, otherwise the gains will not be worth the losses, and the original advantages will be nothing. My strengths are quick response and long-term thinking. The disadvantage is that it is handled sloppily, and the details cannot be taken care of.When dealing with details, it will be natural to enlarge the details. As a result, the original purpose of dealing with details is lost, and the details are taken as the main body, making the problem more and more complicated. I always wish there was someone who would handle the details for me so I could make the big cuts and sprint. But easier said than done, who would be willing to do the finishing work for me? As far as the research on Chinese is concerned, I found that there are countless encoding methods. Arbitrarily adopting a certain word order and arranging the characters separately can achieve a certain effect.Because I think too fast, I force myself to use only one of the methods at a time, and arrange all the words from beginning to end once.It is even necessary to arrange other different methods, and then find the most ideal method based on these objective evidences. Unfortunately, I just can't do it.Because every time I sort out the words one by one with patience, I think of a better way before I can achieve one-tenth of it.Of course, at the time I did have good reasons to believe that the new method was definitely better than the old one. However, the old method has not had the opportunity to test it all, so how do you know that it has no merits? This is the biggest shortcoming of people who pretend to be smart, just like a fast sports car, it must have a straight and flat runway. In real life, where to find a ready-made runway? If there is, I am afraid that the car is already overcrowded. No matter what, the good thing is to put your mind first, whether you change it or not, I will do it every day when I have free time.Do not seek quick success, do not seek immediate benefits, do nothing. When you use your brain a lot, a kind of power will naturally arise, and this power is the subconscious judgment. People's conscious behavior needs to be driven intentionally to operate, and it can only be transformed into subconscious behavior after a habit is formed. The subconscious mind is omnipresent and present at all times, without command or control, it is often brought into full play automatically and spontaneously according to the habitual process. Ten years later, when I have completed many incredible projects, people often ask me when I started to have those ideas. To be honest, I don’t know. If I must find some clues, I think that during the period of coding Chinese codes in Brazil, because the mind is as calm as water, all concepts are gradually formed. It is a pity that during this period of exploration, I did not leave any records and materials, because I thought more than I did.In addition, I have confidence in myself and know that a certain method can be thought of at any time to solve a certain problem. And I also think the good is yet to come, so why remember it? In my impression, I had an ideal at that time, which was to unify and condense several advantages of Chinese characters into one structure. In other words, it is to find a kind of treasure bag, and put what is there. This is the result of reading too many martial arts novels. Every swordsman in Shushan has this kind of treasure bag, which can hold Mount Sumeru in mustard seeds.Only in this way, a lazy person like me can have everything without bringing anything. What are the advantages of Chinese characters? The first is literacy by seeing pictures. Chinese is like a movie on paper, and its expression method is exactly the same as the montage on the movie.Following the order of the words, gradually narrowing from a large range to define the meaning to be expressed.Although this expression is not precise, it is far more effective than precise. Language is not meant to pursue precision. Precision is a concept assumed by human beings. There is no such thing as precision in the universe. For example, how should the three characters of a person be recognized with a precise concept?Yes, there must be a body in it. Does that also include the clothes that people wear?Does it involve all human experience besides the body? And a person does not refer to a certain person, how can this be accurately distinguished? The universe is ever-changing. If you want to understand it, you can only use the strategy of using simplicity to control complexity, and use the simplest symbols to define the similarities and differences in a straightforward manner. At the same time, in the process of definition, the most ideal character symbol is only one that completely conforms to the laws of nature and can display the pictures represented by the characters one by one. Secondly, Chinese has characters and sounds. According to the development of Liushu, under the convention, the phonetic rules are formed by the classification of word meanings and the assistance of word sounds.Today, 90% of Chinese characters are pictophonetic characters. However, due to the influence of geography and environment, the original sounds of many characters have changed, but more than 40% of them still remain. The third point is that the Chinese characters are square and square, and the format is neat. While writing is an art, it may be difficult for some people. However, in terms of identification, according to psychological analysis, within a fixed range, the amount of information per unit area is the sum of human cognition. In other words, in a grid, the more complex the strokes are, the more information they can represent and the easier it is to identify them. Therefore, I only need to think of a rule that can design the pronunciation, meaning, identification, and shape of characters into a simpler representative symbol.Using this symbol as an index, all the aforementioned functions must be covered. If this is the case, it can give Chinese new life and make Chinese have the significance of the times. After a friend surnamed Xiang found out about it, he strongly urged me to return to mainland China. He believed that the new China was full of vigor and vitality, which would definitely help my research.I wanted to go back to Taiwan, because I was not familiar with the place on the mainland, and I didn't know anyone when I went to look for it.What's more, if you want to do research, who will support it? Rest assured, the country will support you.The old item said for sure. The country doesn’t know me. Could it be that I went back, found the country, and told it that I can do this, so the country believed me and gave me funds and personnel?so simple? You have to know that the country serves the people, of course it is as simple as that. Have you ever thought that a country is an abstract name, who can represent a country? Of course it is an official. As long as you find the responsible official, you have found the country. He thinks I'm kidding. The question is, do the officials understand what I do? Of course I understand, otherwise how could he be an official? That's what I'm worried about. If they really understood, the problem would have been solved long ago.If they don't understand, it's hard to communicate. The fact is before our eyes, the mainland is developing Roman Pinyin, which means that the officials of the country think that the problem of Chinese characters is too big to solve.I go back and tell them it can be fixed, do you think they will believe it? Of course, you see, don't I believe it? You believe, number one, that you know me because we are friends. The second point is because you don't have to be responsible. If you are asked to invest, what would you do? why not?I just don't have enough strength. If not how much?I do it here, we collaborate. Hello!Do you really want to go back? I just let you understand why it is useless to go back to the mainland. Is it useful to go back to Taiwan? The situation is different, I can find a job during the day, do research at night, and invest in myself. Now I understand, you plan to make a lot of money after you succeed. But there is no such possibility in mainland China. You usually boast that you have ideals. Is this your ideal? Everything I say today is big talk. Whether I can do it or not is still unknown. Regardless of Taiwan or mainland China, if someone supports me, I will cooperate. If it is done, you might as well take a look, I will definitely release it to the public and let everyone use it freely.Chinese characters are not invented by me, and Chinese culture should not be my patent. My ideal is to solve the dilemma of Chinese and let Chinese culture flourish. I agree, I'm afraid that after you succeed, you will forget these words. Lao Xiang is from Taiwan, but he hates the national government deeply, and often provides me with some information about the mainland.I don't care much about politics, and I think there is not much difference between elder brother and second brother. We didn't talk to each other, but because he had some pain buried in his heart, we still often chat with him.His ideology is difficult to change, and my position is also extremely firm. Every time I always dig out the fundamental problem, that is human nature. He believes that human nature can be changed through politics and education, while I conclude that human nature has not changed from ancient times to the present. He cited some examples and compared the current situation in many mainland China with the previous era of Kuomintang rule.I found that this is a common problem of ordinary people. Before they have a thorough understanding, they presuppose their positions. I believe that Taoism follows nature, and I don't believe that the mainland has embarked on a broad road since then, and I also don't believe that Taiwan will never recover, just as I disagree that the United States and Japan will always lead the world. There are two Chinese-language weekly newspapers in São Paulo that are ashamedly crude, and the news is at least a week or two ago.Not to mention, the content level of editing is worse than the mimeograph publications I edited in school.Since there were many Chinese living in Brazil at that time, there were more than 20,000 people in Sao Paulo alone.Everyone is very appreciative, but they are looking for improvement. Someday in the future, there will always be a real Chinese newspaper to read. These two weekly magazines are maintained by selling advertisements, and it is really pitiful. After more than ten years, they can only be described as shabby.Although the two bosses claim to be journalists, their image and status are not much different from those of beggars. Unfortunately, one of the journalists couldn't make it through, and returned home on a crane, which immediately triggered a battle for newspaper rights.A friend of mine also wanted to get involved, so he came to discuss with me.I don't understand what's the point of this kind of thing? All the property of the newspaper is just a dilapidated Chinese typewriter and a worthless disc mimeograph. The friend said that there are hidden secrets in it, and its business opportunities are unparalleled, only because most people don't know about it.It turned out that although the newspaper office is small, it has an important piece of information, which is the list of subscribers. The newspaperman who died was a stubborn old man of principle, and he kept the list firmly in his hands. When sending the newspaper, I always paste the list by myself, and then send it to the post office for dispatch. What is the use of this list? This is another strange thing about Chinese people. Although there are more than 20,000 Chinese, no one knows where they live.If there is a list, businessmen can do a lot of business. I heard that even the CCP consulate covets this list, which adds a bit of political color. Just like a spy movie, on the surface it is a struggle for property rights, but what is under the surface is this information. But what does this have to do with me?It turned out that several months ago, I wanted to use April Company to publish a Chinese publication. At that time, the company said that as long as there were 10,000 customers, the company could intervene. I met this friend at a party and asked him to be a lobbyist trying to get the weekly magazine down.As far as I know, the two weekly magazines have at least 3,000 customers, and if you try harder to promote them, there may be hope for 10,000 customers. He didn't hear back from me later, and I didn't follow up. This time he seized the opportunity and hoped that I could persuade April Company to buy that weekly magazine. What April company needs is not a list, but a market feasibility analysis, and it is impossible to be interested in this matter.I only briefly mentioned to Miranda in the chat that there might be changes in the Chinese publication market. Miranda said: The company is planning a third-generation printing system. Let me show you some materials. Maybe you can think about using the third-generation printing system to develop Chinese printing. If it succeeds, it may be useful in your China, not to mention our Brazil. This is good news, he really gave me some information. The idea of the third-generation printing press was to use a terminal to project text on the screen by scanning with an electron gun. This method can save complicated procedures such as casting lead type and typesetting. Modern medicine has proved that if workers are often exposed to lead, they are prone to lead poisoning. However, printing and typesetting cannot be separated from lead, which is not only dangerous and costly, but also takes up a lot of space for the preservation of stereotypes. The third-generation printing press is based on the consideration of this realistic environment, the improvement made. I studied it carefully and found that this is extremely beneficial to Chinese. That kind of terminal uses a cathode screen and presets the font of the characters on the cathode screen, which is equivalent to a small type of lead type. Designing this typeface is not difficult, it is slightly larger than the English typeface, the problem is how to lock the position of the typeface with the keys of the typewriter.English established its information system on the basis of typewriters. If there are Chinese typewriters, the establishment of Chinese information systems is a matter of course. Therefore, I immediately transferred my concept of character codes to the research of Chinese typewriters, and initially had several ideas. Another reason why I started with a Chinese typewriter was my fear of computers. Some of the materials that Miranda gave me involved computers, which I did not understand and did not want to understand. When I was still in the United States in 1967, a movie was released in 2001.I went to watch it when it premiered. There is a red-eyed talking computer named HAL in the film, which left a deep impression on me.It's a sci-fi movie, but why is it real? What is illusion? How much is true? How much of an illusion?I just believe that one day the computer will surpass the human brain, so it's best to stay away from it. Because of the direction, I think about the Chinese typewriter day and night. From the mechanical structure to the key coding, how can I match my original idea, using 26 letter keys for Chinese character retrieval. At this point, the scene in front of me has an outline. I use the Chinese code I made a while ago to search, and then assume that I have a terminal with a cathode screen with Chinese characters. And think about how to effectively find Chinese glyphs and project them after Chinese character code input. In my imagination, I regard a negative film with Chinese characters as a cathode screen.Obviously, the arrangement of Chinese only has two directions, vertical and horizontal, so the coding is nothing more than a plane. However, this method can only express arrangement and combination, and besides finding characters, the functions that a plane can represent are limited, especially Chinese characters are very complicated and occupy too much space, so I immediately gave up this method. If one more plane is added, it is equivalent to adding a one-dimensional structure, so that the number of words can be increased, and the burden of each plane is relatively reduced. The idea is progress, but still not ideal.Assuming that on a plane, there are 100 characters vertically and horizontally, and there are 10,000 characters on the same plane. In terms of 60,000 Chinese characters, six terminals are needed. The meaning of the six terminals is that the cost of Chinese equipment is basically six times higher than that of English. I don’t want to admit that Chinese is worse than English. At least I will continue to work hard before I give up. I am constantly researching and deliberating over and over again the collected texts.Gradually, a concept came to my mind, can we use the shape-sound structure to put together Chinese characters in a combined way, so that the space will be much more streamlined?I did it when I thought of it, cut some fonts and put them together, and found that only the proportions needed to be adjusted. This is not difficult, the glyphs on the cathode screen are emitted by electron beams, and I can control them with bias magnetism. Assuming this theory works, the next step is how to code it to fit this function. The encoding of one or two thousand characters has proved feasible, so I want to expand it, at least to use the more than 10,000 characters in the dictionary as the scope of analysis.I went to the Chinese bookstore to look for it, but there were only martial arts and romance novels in the store, and I couldn't find a dictionary! I asked the boss, and he answered really well: Dude, who buys a dictionary? Those who don't read can't understand it, and those who have read the book, I'm afraid it's too late! Is Chinese really that scary? I have no choice but to eat this bowl of rice. My son's life is good. I don't allow him to learn Chinese to avoid suffering. I believe most Chinese people have this idea. Therefore, I decided to go back to China earlier. There is no environment abroad, and it is impossible to make achievements. So I told Miranda that this kind of work is extremely difficult. Although it is feasible, it is impossible to complete it under the Brazilian environment.Although there is no decision yet, but sooner or later I will return to China to work, I hope he can understand. When I officially resigned and returned to China, unfortunately, Miranda's position as manager was finally snatched away.A new bald middle-aged man arrived, arrogant and defiant. He was said to be the son-in-law of the general manager. The friend who helped me a lot, not only did not see him for the last time, but he didn't even know his whereabouts. Lao Xiang often came to me and urged me to go back to the mainland to do research, and I told him the details of the job, the conditions of the job and the environmental requirements. After a long struggle, he finally agreed with me. As far as my plan is concerned, the probability of success in going back to Taiwan is higher than going to the mainland. When we got this consensus, I became more and more clear about my plan and had full confidence.I thought about it again and again, and changed my mind, thinking that I should go to the mainland. Are you out of your mind? maybe. why?I already agree with your statement, only by returning to Taiwan can I succeed! That's true, but I also thought that the root of Chinese culture is on the mainland. You are unreasonable! We've talked about this a long time ago. The problem is that Taiwan and the mainland are hostile, one side is in favor of it, and the other side is against it, isn't it? so what? If I succeed in Taiwan, the mainland will definitely not adopt it, so what about the roots of culture? never mind!never mind!I can't talk to you, it's justified, and it's justified!Wherever you go! On May 22, 1973, I flew to Tokyo and found the Chinese embassy, hoping to obtain a visa and return to the motherland after an absence of more than 20 years.A modern Chinese is troubled by two Chinas wherever he goes.Because I held a Taiwanese passport, the Chinese embassy in Brazil refused to issue a visa, so Lao Xiang suggested that I try to go to Japan. Unfortunately, a lot of demonstrators gathered outside the Chinese embassy that day, and the Japanese riot police set up a refusal to guard the horses.Since I was only in transit in Japan for three days, time was tight and I couldn't delay it.I entered the embassy through the crowd, and the Japanese police rushed me in and brought me into the bureau.A group of people questioned me for a long time, and after confirming that I was indeed not a demonstrator, they sent me to the embassy. I said that I would go back to China to do textual research. After two days of negotiating with the embassy staff, I was exhausted, but I still could not get their consent.I described my plan in detail, and they were all moved and agreed, but instead advised me to go back to Brazil. Maybe this is the chance?I found out later that the Cultural Revolution was going on in China at that time, and everything was paralyzed.Even if he goes back, he may be put into the bullpen, and the research plan will be postponed for at least ten years. I don't know anything about the Cultural Revolution, but I am very curious. Why is there a revolution when the country has finally stabilized?Even culture is going to be revolutionized!I have always wondered how the peaceful outlook on life that Chinese people have cultivated for thousands of years could turn into such a fanatical and intense one overnight? From the standpoint of the Chinese, Taiwan’s status in history is unquestionable. If Taiwan was not still outside the CCP’s rule, the Cultural Revolution of the past ten years would make the Chinese lose their lives in modern times and in the foreseeable future. All knowledge, technology and opportunities for reflection under comparison.Although Taiwan does not have sufficient conditions to grow up and become the political mainstream of China in the future. But it was able to try capitalism, develop the economy, and send a large number of highly educated talent elites to industrialized countries such as the United States to accept modern scientific and technological knowledge. On the surface, the use of talents from Chu and Jin is a great loss to the nation, and the educated talents serve the American society for nothing.I held this kind of argument back then, and even published an article in the newspaper, denouncing it loudly.Unexpectedly, this is the power of natural balance, and the flow of talents is affected by many factors. If Taiwan's politics is prosperous and everyone lives and works in peace and contentment, even if it can prosper, it will be difficult to cultivate talents with a global spirit due to its geographical location and conservative habits. At present, many talents are concentrated in the United States. If the United States is really tolerant and the hope of all mankind, the prosperity of the United States will also lead to the prosperity of the world.Conversely, Americans discriminate against immigrants if they only seek their own interests. One day, these high-level technical personnel will return to their homeland one by one to assist in the construction of their motherland. Communism was an ideal based on resistance to, and a counterweight to, the immature capitalism of the nineteenth century.Capitalism has taken the advantage of being the first to go, and it has been constantly revised under the threat of communism. Today, it appears to be full of vitality. However, the Communist Party members firmly hold on to the original dogma, and in order to curb the material needs of human nature, they are even more daunting in using urgent medicine for acute illness. Am I not a believer in communism? But I don't agree with coercion. I have the ability and I am willing to share everything I have with everyone. This is the result of my being influenced by Chinese culture. It is spontaneous and does not expect anything in return. If it is used as a political means, the purpose is to save the people from suffering, and the people will not be stimulated and promoted by suffering. As a result, everyone will become a flower in the greenhouse, which obviously fails to achieve the intended purpose. In the Diamond Sutra, the Buddha said: All sentient beings like me will enter Nirvana without residue and be saved. If there are countless, countless and boundless sentient beings, there will be no sentient beings who will be destroyed. This sentence means that the Buddha has absolute magic power and supernatural powers, and can bring all sentient beings to the Western Paradise. But the result of doing so cannot relieve the pain and troubles of the human heart. why?The Buddha explained: Because people have a self-consciousness, the self-consciousness lasts a lifetime, and the original non-discriminatory Buddha land immediately turns into self-interested gains and losses. When a person pursues his own benefit, he becomes the harm of others, and if he gains something, he loses something. In this way, what is the meaning of the blissful western world? I also thought about it, why doesn't the Buddha melt away the ego in human beings? The answer is that people have the freedom to choose, and if people are willing to get rid of my heart, it is called returning to the shore. If not, why not let him continue to practice in bitterness and joy? The ideal of the Communist Party is to force the people to give up their selfishness. Mao Zedong knew that this was not easy, and he especially understood the truth that power corrupts people, so he emphasized continuous revolution. That is to say, in the process of revolution, every time after overthrowing the powerful power, there will inevitably be new power groups rising up, so the revolution must continue and continue until people change completely and no longer have self-consciousness. until. But easier said than done?Selfish people will throw their heads and blood to defend their human rights. There has never been a successful example of such a huge project that violates human nature throughout the ages. The problem is not that there is a lack of caring people, but that caring people have no strength. Powerful people have long been corrupted by power and only see themselves, and they just use power to fulfill their selfish desires! The most commendable thing about Mao Zedong launching the Cultural Revolution is that he has already deserved his name and become the leader of the country, but he still holds this unrealistic ideal. As the head of state, the risks he took shook the country deeply. But from the human standpoint, as a human revolutionist, he can go down in history forever. He failed, and what he left behind was a precious and thought-provoking teaching material.People who only see the appearance, standing in the position of opposition, can find thousands of examples to prove that Mao Zedong insisted on going his own way, which brought disaster to the country and the people. Those who stand in support will argue that his great achievements are full of flaws.Only those who know the truth lament the misfortune of mankind. After all, this catastrophe through the ages is destined to happen once in the history of mankind. Ten years of the Cultural Revolution left China dilapidated, its national strength regressed for decades, and the good opportunity of the post-industrial period was missed.Lao Tzu once said: Misfortune is the source of good fortune, and good fortune is dominated by misfortune. Chinese people account for a quarter of the world's population, and their influence on the world can be said to be decisive. If industrial civilization is on the right track, the Cultural Revolution is nothing more than the loss of a generation. For the millions of unfortunate people in the world, how many generations have passed, so what are these decades? However, if history proves that industrial civilization is one of the most unforgivable mistakes made by human beings. Then, the sacrifice of this generation of Chinese people is the greatest fortune among human misfortunes.Just think about it, if China is as powerful as the United States, the degree of pollution of the earth and the speed of resource depletion will be five times the current rate! As for the next era?For human beings, everyone has equal opportunities, so what is there to worry about?
