Introduction
Political economy, regarded as a science of the statesman or legislator, proposes two distinct aims: first, to provide the people with an adequate income or livelihood, or rather to enable the people to provide themselves with such an income. or livelihood; second, to provide sufficient income to the country or society so that public affairs can be carried out.In short, its purpose is to enrich the country and the people.
The different levels of wealth of different people in different times have produced two different political economy systems about rich countries and rich people.One, it can be called mercantilism; the other, it can be called Physiocratism.Of these two doctrines I shall try to be as specific as I can, and shall begin with mercantilism.This is the theory of modern times, and it is the most understood in our country today.Chapter 1 Commercialism
