Said Yunyou Youfang is the words of the monks, also called alms.In the words of the society, it is beggars, that is, begging, begging for food, asking for money, rice, and food from wealthy households.Most of the rich families keep a vicious dog to guard the gate. During the few years when Zhu Yuanzhang traveled in Huaixi, Peng Yingyu, the founder of the Western Red Army, was lurking in this area, spreading the teachings of Maitreya Buddha's rebirth, and organizing revolutionary forces.Peng Yingyu is also a wandering monk. The origin of Mingjiao can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty.Originally called Manichaeism, it was created by the Persian Mani (AD 216|277).This religion is a hodgepodge, mixing Christianity, Zoroastrianism, and Buddhism to become a new religion.The main teachings are two sects and three states; they believe that there are two different forces in the world, called light and dark sects, light is light, good, and reason, and darkness is darkness, evil, and desire.These two forces, fighting against each other, go through three stages, called the first stage, the middle stage, and the latter stage.In the initial stage, there is no heaven and earth, but there is light and darkness. The bright nature knows wisdom, and the dark nature is ignorant, forming a state of opposition.In the middle stage, the power of darkness develops and expands, invades and oppresses the power of Ming, and runs wildly, causing great trouble. Decades and hundreds of years have passed, and they are still waiting and looking forward to it.As soon as they heard that Maitreya Buddha was born somewhere, they rushed to join the uprising.From Sui, Tang to Song and Yuan, for seven or eight hundred years, history is full of records of Maitreya uprisings.The translation of some classics about Maitreya Buddha started as early as the Jin Dynasty, and had a great influence in the Southern and Northern Dynasties.For example, in the atmosphere at that time, monks spent money to dig holes in the rocks to carve Buddha statues. There were many holes in a mountain, and there were many big stone Buddhas in each hole. It often took several years or even hundreds of years to carve them.The most engraved Buddha statues are Maitreya Buddha and Amitabha Buddha.The dissemination of classics, the worship of Buddha statues, the instigation of legends, and the countless calls for the birth of Maitreya Buddha made this mysterious and friendly name familiar to and trusted by simple farmers, and became a force to organize and launch resistance to the ruling class at that time.People who believe in Maitreya also wear white clothes and hats, and burn incense. 【21】I also believe that there are two forces in the world, light and darkness, good and bad, which are generally similar to the later Ming religion, and as a result, these two religions are mixed together. They armed themselves with bamboo poles and hoes, and carried out heroic and indomitable just struggles against violent oppression.Although every uprising has been suppressed by the well-organized and powerful government army, they have failed, but the peasants will never surrender, fall, wipe off the blood, get up again, resist again, resist forever ,Wild fire, in spring.As long as feudal oppression exists, the struggle of the peasants in various forms, especially armed revolution against armed counter-revolution, will never cease.Deep in the minds of the vast number of oppressed and enslaved peasants, although they do not understand the truth of class oppression, they all hate the ruthless exploitation and abuse of landlords and bureaucrats. Maitreya will be born! Three years before Zhu Yuanzhang was born, in June of the second year of Yuan Taiding (AD 1325), Zhao Chousi and Guo Bodhisattva from Xizhou announced that Maitreya Buddha would come to rule the world. 【23】Twelve years later, Banghu (Run'er) from Chenzhou claimed that Maitreya Buddha had been born.
