However, I must declare here that the realm of life is constantly changing, and in the three thousand great worlds, one level is higher than the other.上善者不可拘泥於一得，要有逆水行舟的精神，否則所得不過死水一灘！ 我以往所認知的宇宙是絕對理性的，包括我在巴西那一剎的得道，都能用抽象思維的方法加以解釋。可是如今理性終於受到了挑戰，有很長一段時間，我日夜陷泥於理性與虛無的矛盾中。直到我在迷信與科學交相攻擊下，把迷信整理成為理論，把科學當作工具，擴大了理性的認知範疇後，才得到了妥協。 我曾研究過《麻衣相法》、《紫微斗數》、《星平會海》、《子平四柱》、《梅花易數》以至於《周易》。當然，要想完全瞭解其中的奧妙，絕非一年半載可以竟功，至少在中文研究沒有完成之前，我不可能有時間分心旁騖。但同時我又認定文字所表達的是文化，如果不知道中華文化的內涵，怎能掌握中國文字的精要？ 其實上述諸書所載都是科學技術，是以統計資料為基礎，辨識為手段，遠在統計學及辨識學成為科學之前，先發展出來的技術。 我認為《麻衣相法》是根據人類行為在長時期的習慣中，刻畫在皮膚表面的蛛絲馬跡。《星平會海》則是以天體運動的實証，影射到現實環境中，以供行事的參考。《子平四柱》是命學之大全，是以人之生辰八字為索引，以求知時間流程與個人之關係。《紫微斗數》脫胎於子平四柱，相當於一種圖解式的命學。 只有《周易》才是宇宙時、空的基本命題，因為《周易》是萬事萬物的概念分類。如果要瞭解人生的一切，必先由易開始。但是談何容易，連孔老夫子那麼高的智慧都說五十以學易，我憑什麼狂妄？ 我當然記得國安堂的預言，但在深究原委之前，我是寧願存疑的。至少有一點反証令我無法接受預言的精確性，八字之排列組合共有廿六萬二千八百種變化。當前全世界人口已有五十億，平均應有一萬多人八字相同。也就是說，有一萬多人可以視為有著相同的命運。也許有人會說八字相同未必遭遇相同，果真如此，人又何從得知？（有關我對命理的研究有《易經明道錄》及《易理探微》二書，已由時報出版公司發行。） 再回想國安堂的預言似乎很正確，但詳探之卻又似是而非。他說我四十二歲會成功，什麼叫做成功？不錯，第一步是跨出去了，可是與我的目標相比，簡直差得難以想像。在一般人的眼中，地位與權利才是成功的標準，而我這樣一個小公司又算得了什麼？可是從另一個角度來看，國安堂算命先生的幾句話給予我的心理安撫，卻是不能否認的。 總之，我寧願相信命運與努力是並行不悖的。我們有絕對的自由去爭取自己的理想，只是我們需要充分瞭解到人世不是為任何一個你或我所創造的，切勿期望一切盡如所願。在某方面犧牲一點，在另一方面就會多一點收穫。 我希望有命運，卻又不願受命運的束縛，顯然我心猶在。也許造物者有意顯現命運的存在，使人類得知宇宙有真理，人生有永恒。人唯有日新又新，始能精進不止，就如《易經》上所言天行健，君子以自強不息。具有這種智慧，就會得到真正幸福的人生。但從另一個角度看，命運弄人，好不是自己的成績，壞也不是自己的錯誤，這我能苟同嗎？ 我辛辛苦苦建立的信念，卻因為一本書的出現，恰如秋風掃落葉一般，剎時被掃得精光！家岳很讚賞我孜孜不倦的精神，拿了本大約是一九五一年前出版的推背圖給我。據一九一三年出版的辭源記載，該書相傳是唐朝的司天監李淳風及袁天罡二人所著，書中係以隱語的方式，預言自唐以後數千年中國政體的興衰。 岳父給我的時間是一九七四年，姑不論此書的作者、出版年代，只要書中對一九七四年以後的預言能夠正確，那就足夠証明預言的真實性。 預言非常難寫，想要造假也大不易，古今中外可稱得上為預言的例子不多。而現今所流傳的多在數百年以上，我國約有八種，外國不過兩種而已。至於預言的內容多屬國家社會或者是全人類關係興亡的大事，多以時間為序。 人最缺乏的能力，就是對未來的認知。人類文明的歷程，也就是在無知的狀況下，不斷探索知識的軌跡。如若預言為真，人們就能夠得知未來的真相，沒有能力的人必然對預言盲目崇拜，有能力的人則力求在其中操縱獲利。 造物是明智的，人體正如時空的樊籠，將人的自我侷限其中，任何人最大的極限也不過能掌握那一瞬即逝的現在。人重視自我的利害，希望將之牢牢地保存在方寸之中，努力設法鞏固他的堡壘。因為堡壘僅僅屬於他個人所有，所以稱為私。 私心重的人，有堡壘尚嫌不足，又在外圍興建了深溝高壑。然而保護得越周嚴，人就越感到孤寂，只能透過有限的利害關係，以瞭解隔絕的時空真貌。於是，人惶恐了，唯一的安慰是使自己成為各個城堡的中心，終日設法抓緊不放。 如果人能透過解讀預言而打破時空的枷鎖，有私心而又有能力者，必然會動員一切力量，以供自己趨利避害。歷史告訴我們，上述現象從來沒有發生過。稍有理性的人若相信預言為真，則必須提出有力的反証，否則便是迷信。 要客觀的瞭解真相，我們有絕對的必要，先訂定幾點遊戲規則。當然，這些規則必須是出自於理性，不能有一絲一廂情願的成分。 第一：預言是人在事件發生之前，以語言或文字預示該事件發生的狀況。預言必須與事實相符，否則此預言不能成立。 第二：預言的內容不限，形式也極為自由，但原則上都是指一系列的事件，必須事先公開，以便驗証。 第三：預言的事件，在事前有無數種可能的解釋，而在事後的印証上，只能有一種完全符合真相的答案。 第四：若有任何一種預言，全部皆証明為真，其真正的意義有三： 一、宇宙的時空有一流程，其變化一絲不爽，預言即為此流程的一部分。 二、能解讀此流程的人，絕無私心，不致影響流程的運行。 三、人既能觸及宇宙時空本質，表示人可以經由某種方法，接近宇宙本體。 （這種人不具私心，啟示一條人生的光明大道，以躋身仙佛之林。至於 目標明確，以人間的榮華富貴為目的者，也不妨略窺天地間的玄機。 ) 推背圖的前卅十九卦預言唐朝的開國到日本敗亡，那些都是歷史，人盡皆知，我一概不加採信。由第四十卦到六十卦才是本書已經出版後，尚未經過驗証的真正的預言。我先試著推敲，果然其中玄機重重，看上去模稜兩可，難以理解。但隨著時間的發展，竟然無不絲絲如扣。（其中說明，坊間各書所載極詳，請自行研判。） 人生之機緣建立在自我的努力上，努力是沒有止境的歷程，因果全在其中。命運雖是既定的流程，然限於人智，有誰知道這流程的真相呢？有人認為既然不能知道，命運就沒有意義。有人則不管有沒有，到處求神問卜，這樣的人生果真毫無意義了。 不論如何，人應該具有一種信念，造物者絕對公平，創造了一種自由自在的生存機會。人若只知循私為己，自有得失是非，終生循環在喜怒哀樂七情六欲之中。若覺於一念之間，鑽破繭殼，上體天心，努力克己，助人濟世，總有回歸本體的一天。 命運就是因果，是宇宙的架構，非人力所能改變的，故不可能有趨避之方。有人說命不能變，運則可改，那是古人勸人行善，有種因求果之意。今人藉之騙人入彀，動輒乞運，碰巧對了一次，正中了投機者的心懷，至少也要破財買個心安。因此，江湖術士大行其道，一個願打，一個願挨，無非愚昧作祟。 對我個人來說，追求真理是唯一的目標。在前賢苦心的安排下，《推背圖》無異一線天機，啟示了宇宙既存的本來面目，明告世人在生生死死之外，尚有永恒的人生。至此以後，我再也沒有憂懼、惶惑，堅定不移地朝著真理導引的方向努力。孔夫子曾說：朝聞道，夕死可矣！我比夫子有幸多了！ 內人知道我相信了命運，就經常去算命看相、求神問卜，我很不以為然。根據我前述的理論，一切得失都操之在己，還要知道什麼？所以我一再阻止她，不許她在家中談這些事。有一天，她實在忍不住了，一定要我去基隆的天顯宮，說那是菩薩顯靈，有很多不可思議的神跡，絕非一般的算命可比。 在她不斷的慫恿下，我也想驗証究竟世界上是否有所謂的菩薩。我雖然篤信佛教，接受禪的洗禮，但卻只是一種理性的歸依，還不能接受那些神話。即令以地藏王菩薩為榜樣，也只是崇拜他的願心，矢志遵奉。再說宇宙的四度空時中，有其必然的規律，我可以相信其超然的結構，卻斷然不能接受人間的神跡。 為了驗証，當然必須親身去領教一二。一九八二年三月二日，我抱著姑妄信之的態度，上午辦完公事，中午便和內人趕到基隆去。 天顯宮在基隆港口的和平島上，規模並不大，廟也還在逐步興建中，看上去並不起眼。廟中供奉的是五大帝公，以名稱來看，應該是道教。五大帝公是五位結拜的兄弟，依序為：文殊菩薩、白眉羅漢、韋陀菩薩、地藏王菩薩之右判官及華光菩薩，大家習以為常，統稱大帝公。實際上三大帝公顯靈的機會最多，至少我前後去了將近十次，每次都是三帝公開壇，沒有一次例外。 據廟祝說，大帝公的神位是在兩百年前被一位張姓的漁民由大陸請來，供奉在家。大約是七年前，大帝公顯靈，表示時機已成熟，要在和平島上建一所天顯宮，且指定張家之子為乩童，以神靈附體的方式，為人們解惑，普渡眾生。 這種小廟，沒有宣傳，沒有大場面，只是默默地為一些升斗小民做精神上以及一般性的病痛治療。原則上不收任何費用，但不拒樂捐，而一般大眾所得有限，所以這所廟一建就是七年。到目前只有一間臨時的大殿和靠山邊的一所圖書館。 我問廟祝，大帝公既然有無比的法力，為什麼要用這樣辛苦的方式建廟呢？廟祝說，大帝公希望建一所屬於貧苦大眾的廟，要大家一分一毫地興建起來。 一開始是各自上香，在大帝公的神位前請示問題。開壇後，大帝公就會假乩童之口，一一開示。我只有一個問題，就是能不能夠堅持理念，達到預期的目的。 到了一點多鐘，小小的廟中就聚滿了人，甚至有遠自南部專程而來的。閒聊中各人談起各種靈異，令我難以置信。我不理會別人的說法，只有以自己親身的體驗去分析判斷，才能証明其虛實。 開壇時，大家都擠到壇前，除非是大帝公認為不能公開討論的問題，才會清場。那位乩童約有二十來歲，是個很平凡的青年，不像有什麼特殊能力。他先伏在案上，由廟祝燒香、禱告。不一會，乩童全身開始抖動，閉著眼睛，說起話來。 他說的是台灣話，而且是古語，一般人尚聽得懂，我卻如鴨子聽雷。不過旁邊有的是志願翻譯的義工，一點都不用擔心。按照登記的號碼，信徒走到他的身邊，說出姓名住址。最奇妙的事發生了，他居然能把問者住處的環境，一一描述出來，彷彿眼見一般。然後，他再針對問題，常常一語中的，令人心神俱驚。 這時，一般人所期待的只是一個有利於自己的答案，可能是由於天機及個人的心理因素，也可能原本就是一場騙局，大家的反應不一。有人認為靈驗無比，有人則斥為無稽，但是從來沒有人從科學的立場去追究，眼前的現象是真是假？has no meaning? 我卻不然，我看到的是個微妙而矛盾的難題，人憑什麼條件，能猜中一個素未謀面者生活上的細節？對人而言，瞭解他人的問題已經很難，要想解決更是難上加難。就算有此可能，又怎能不影響既有的命運，又提供取捨趨避之方？ 且把靈驗與否放在一邊，眼前我所見到的大帝公，其言語中頗多智慧，尤其是他慈悲的心腸，顯然不是一般泛泛之輩。假定大帝公是假，他為什麼每天來此應付各種各樣瑣碎的人物、事件，為了錢？For the name?為了興趣？ 每次開壇起碼是連續五個小時，身旁的義工輪流換班，他卻一直閉著眼、身上不住地抖動，口中不停地說話。信眾中病患特多，他每每一語中的，說得病人連連點頭。最令人瞠目的是他在為人治病時，常將一大把燃燒著的香，放在舌上舔熄。 信徒的報答是自由樂捐，一天近百人，一人平均數十元，值得嗎？ 我抱著懷疑的態度，多次求証的結果，大帝公對過去、未來事件的判斷，準確度高達百分之七十。即使是一個國家龐大的情報機構，擁有各種先進的設備以及高級專門人才，都不可能在剎時之間，對任何一個人作出任何正確的判斷。因此，我在仔細的分析後，不得不承認眼前所見的，就是超出人界的神。 真理往往就在我們的身邊，但卻要有智慧去分辨出來。記得在《金剛經》中須菩提問佛說： 您有這麼大的神通，為什麼不一舉將世人渡盡，讓大家都進入極樂世界呢？ 佛說： 世人執著於自我，如果不自行覺悟，就算全部進入極樂世界，那極樂世界又與現在的人世有什麼分別？ 這句話的道理實在明顯不過，人間既是無邊地獄也是極樂世界，端視人心而定。所有最適合人類生存的條件都在這裏，空氣、日光、流水、食物，人還需要什麼？人如果只顧自己，而排斥其他的自己，不論人在哪裏，又有什麼能讓人滿足？ 人世原本就是真理的一部分，有人執著於自我，有人追求解脫。不論朝東向西，在在都屬於真理的一面。我既認清了自我，也有幸瞭解了宇宙的結構，如今又能見識到人世與宇宙結構之間的媒介，何不妨從俗，姑且信之為神吧。 不待我開口請示，大帝公對我已瞭若指掌，我的工作、責任、心願以及目前的遭遇，祂都有極為詳盡的解說。祂說，由於我的理想太高，任務艱巨，這一生都將受到財務的困擾。大帝公只叫我安心努力，一切自有妥善的安排。 從來沒有任何一個人，包括我的長輩、親戚、朋友以及公司同仁，對我有這樣深刻的瞭解。祂的話在別人聽來也許沒有什麼特殊的意義，可是對我卻是字字珠璣，每句話都正中要害。狂傲如我，一生沒有信服過一個活著的人，在那一刻，也自覺渺小如蟻。 經過幾次的印証後，我不再懷疑了，我已經找到了答案。宇宙的真相歷歷在前，每一個層次，每一組介面都有其必然的架構！人生只是永恒無盡中的一個環節，人間所見所聞，都只是偏頗不全的一小部分。僅以時間的橫斷面來看，似乎一切都是現實的，可是時間無垠地向前延伸，因因果果無不爽然。自我只存在於這個生死的環節之間，如果抱著不放，不肯面對全部的真相，今生如此，生生世世又有什麼分別？ 我沒有必要把各種細節記在這裏，那些靈異的事件只是結果。只求獲得靈異的果實，便是迷信，唯有經過追求驗証後的認知，才是實信。 多年來，我只是在覺悟後，抱著無我的心情，從事著自認為有意義的工作。對於宗教，我並沒有刻意的去追求，也不覺得有追求的必要。由《推背圖》我理解到宇宙有一定的結構，由大帝公，我認識了這個結構的整體。然而，佛教只是眾多宗教之一，是不是所有的宗教都屬於這個架構呢？ 我向大帝公請示，祂說五教同源。也就是說，所有的宗教都是同一的真理，只是在不同的環境下。因為人們不同的生活習慣，而有不同的形式而已。這種說法恰好與我的觀念相符，顯然宗教是介於人與宇宙本體之間的橋樑，只要人們不徘徊在橋樑之上，宗教就有其絕對的價值。 我一直嚮往著宗教生活，那種恬寧的精神層次，可以使人超凡入聖，遠離人世的騷擾。在人類歷史上，宗教曾經扮演過重要的角色，但並沒有為人間帶來真正的解脫。目前我的責任只是完成中文電腦拓荒的使命，以後呢？我應該跳出國家民族的小圈子，放眼整個世界，為所有不幸的人，所有需要解脫的心靈，探索出一條康莊大道。 我有沒有這種能力並不重要，在從事中文電腦之前，我對電腦的認識有如一張白紙。只要勇於犧牲，克服自我的惰性，天下沒有學不會的事。重要的是我既然決定走這條路，就要身體力行，要先斷絕私心，淨化性靈，以為未來作好準備。 從此以後，我雖然仍舊堅守著工作崗位，卻已然擺脫了人間的七情六欲，如同在深山修道的苦行僧一般。只是在這個時代中，我不能只顧自己的修行而忽視眼前的責任，以及未來應該面對的更艱巨的工作。
