This time I asked Chen Jinyao specifically to ask him if he had any money.He honestly said no.Of course, the worst result of this situation is that the company cannot be formed, which is not serious.但這的確是一個問題，而且我無法解決。 事後，我一再分析這件事。就算是大帝公是個普通人，能知道我的問題所在，也能及時解決，他就可以稱得上是智者了，我還不心服嗎？ No!我還要加以求証。不過，目前我也有必要自我檢討一下，我是否真的太好高騖遠呢？從事人工智能算不算呢？我是否逼他們太狠？天天上課，沒有休息，難道不是嗎？為什麼我一定要拿他們與我和沈紅蓮來比？要他們和我們一樣地做牛做馬呢？ 我錯在近來有了一點小小的成績，就開始自高自傲了。大帝公即使不是神，即令是張先生所假扮的，這一下當頭棒喝，就足夠令我五體投地了。 我開始揣摩大帝公說的做洋娃娃的事，越想越覺得這是個好點子。我立刻想出了十幾種不同的方法，可以把微處理器應用到一般玩具上。 比如說，只要把光電器排成九宮陣形，當作洋娃娃的眼睛。根據九宮陣光影強度變化的方向，將訊號放大，以控制一組至數組步進馬達，就可以令娃娃的頸部隨著光影移動。眼睛能夠跟人移動的娃娃，一定會受大眾歡迎的。 待娃娃能動了，把光電的點陣加大，再加聚焦，一個簡單的人頭投影，用頭髮的光度作為辨識參數。在娃娃肚子裏裝一個錄音帶，當影像迫近時，娃娃會發出爸爸或媽媽的叫聲。這類點子，可以無限發揮，大帝公說得對極了！ 我在零壹時，曾想在遙控的裝甲車上，用閃光燈做為炮彈，感光器作彈著點。當人在玩裝甲兵團時，互相以閃光炮攻擊，擊中彈著點，則會爆炸發光，然後拋錨在場中。這時其他支援如救護車等，都可以用遙控操作。 那時因為資金不足，做了一半就停止了。現在再加上各種編碼的技術，我們可以做出非常複雜而且精密的高級控制玩具，絕非僅僅是前進、後退而已。 三月二十日，蔣祥嘉先生來深圳看我，他帶來一疊資料，是公安部委托他向英國一家公司購買的指紋辨識系統。一共是二十套，每套售價美金兩百多萬！但是因為六四事件，這筆生意無法成交。蔣先生問我能不能做，要多少經費？ 我一分析，發覺硬體很簡單，其全部價值在軟體的辨識功能上。這也原本就是我們視覺辨識的課題之一，在我的理念中，視覺辨識共分三大類別： 一是文字辨識，沈紅蓮已經做得差不多了。只因她工作太多，一面要監督聚珍的工作進度，一面要編寫使用手冊，一直沒法子完工。第二部分是幾何圖形辨識，資料分析（所有的圖形所蘊含的概念定義）與程式模組都做好了，只待動手。第三部分才是重頭大戲影像辨識，先將光影解析成為線條與輝度，再配合認知概念，就可以達到辨識的目的。 指紋只是圖形辨識的應用之一，只要先將指紋的特徵分類，再加上辨識的技巧，即可完成。我們的特色是程式速度快，掃瞄的資料到手後，大概一百個步驟（每個步驟均三個指令）就可以做資料比對。以指紋為例，初步是消除雜訊，第二步是指紋成形，第三步則將成形的指紋轉成資料結構。預估三千個指令可以完成，而目前微電腦每秒可執行一千萬個以上的指令。所以我有把握用微電腦來做，成本不過幾千美金而已！ 基於蔣先生的情誼，我決定先幫他做指紋辨識。蔣先生立刻請了公安部的相關人員到深圳來與我們商討細節。沒想到公安部看中的卻是我們的字庫，他們正要建立全國統一的資訊系統，而苦於人名用字無法解決。至於指紋辨識，他們顯然懷疑我們有此能力，既然如此，我也沒有多說的必要。 談了幾個月，越談範圍越大，牽扯的問題也越多。由於我所做的研究都是當今的尖端科技，也都與國防機密與安全有關。又是老問題了，我怎能因為自以為懂了一點技術就不顧後果，妄作非為？ 接著，又有一件事扯上身來，園區把我最初回國的人工智能計劃呈了上去，上面批文指定我在八六三計劃下，做中文自然語言與影像辨識。 大陸的各種計劃中，最為人知的是火炬計劃，是針對高科技產業所制定的，以發展產品為主。還有一個八五計劃，是八○年代制定的國家五年計劃。八六三計劃全名為八六三高科技跟蹤計劃，選擇了全世界最先進的科研約百餘項，交由有能力的單位研究，經費全部由國家負擔。 這是一項榮譽，對我卻是一個警訊。為了國家民族，我義不容辭，個人的安危並不是考慮的因素。但我太瞭解技術的可怕了，在回國之初，在六四之後，我心中所想的就是要為國家出一口氣，但出了氣以後呢？ 由我對大陸的瞭解，我完全不懷疑上層領導人士為國為民的情操，可是政府是人所組成的，而人性就是自私的表現。只有在接受了極度痛苦的洗禮後，人性才會昇華，在適當的導引下，有一部分人會大徹大悟，化私為公。 如果人工智能成功了，假定能減低人類的痛苦，難道就是人類的福祉嗎？絕對的權力是絕對的腐敗，同理，絕對的幸福亦將帶來絕對的災害！ 我明知這些道理，為什麼還一直處心積慮地鑽研呢？現在果真有了機會，我為什麼又猶豫了呢？我仔細檢討，發覺這一切還是一個私心在作祟！因為我想証明自己有這種能力，別人越是不相信，我越是想找機會証明！ 幸而這時聚珍快完成了，我忙著檢查、調整、規劃，把其他的事都先擱置一下。陳金耀到台灣找了京國電腦公司的邱副總來，京國是威京小沈的關係企業，一部八千里路雲和月的大陸風光記錄片，讓我很佩服他獨到的眼光。 京國決定獨家代理台灣市場，我則和他約法三章。我告訴他聚珍的用戶介面還沒有做，程式錯誤還很多，在真正進入市場之前，必須先做大量的測試。而做測試的方法，最好是由學生下手，先免費贈送測試版本給各級學校，再收集回饋的意見，統一處理。這個過程我預計需要半年，甚至於一年以上，京國必須要有這種認識。 邱副總很瞭解，他完全同意我的看法，於是我們先作了君子協定。 三月，大帝公又來到深圳，公司同仁莫不希望見識一下大帝公附體。我以為可能性不高，沒想到大帝公一口答應。同時對我說：我好多次托夢給你，你都不記得了？ do not remember.I'll be honest. 以後好好想一想。 yes. 我這次來，是要你心理上有個準備，明年你要到越南去發展。 Vietnam?大帝公怎麼會要我去越南呢？ 事後，吳先生告訴我，三年前大帝公就叫他去越南，買了近一萬公頃的土地，正在積極地開發。據大帝公說，祂是越南的守護神，我們則是祂的子弟兵。在經過越戰大劫後，天廷授意祂振興當地的經濟。 大帝公還預言，五年後美國將會與越南恢復關係。十多年後，美軍也會再度回來。到了下個世紀，越南將成為東南亞最強盛的國家。 最初誰都不相信有此可能，吳先生也是半信半疑，在一個人都不認識的情況下到了越南。而一到越南，就有人找上門來，各種商機源源不絕。我的任務是去創設一個科學園區，教育當地人民。 我還是不能相信，我唯一的長處是中文，怎麼與當地人溝通呢？我雖然沒有狹隘的民族觀，卻有著對中國文化的熱愛。科技、電腦僅僅是工具，我相信其他人能比我做得更好。一旦我離開了文化的根源，豈不是隻失水的魚？ 大帝公與我們公司的同仁見面了，這些唯物主義下成長的無神論者，一個一個排著隊，見識到了另一個世界的奇跡。 因為時間的關係，大帝公只接見了七八個人。事後他們紛紛交換心得，認為測中率高達百分之八十。有人認為這是台灣的特異功能，有人口中不說，心中懷疑是我洩漏了一些情報。可是有些私事，連他們自己都不清楚，大帝公常一語道破！ 有個姓劉的女孩子問父親的病，大帝公卻回答說：妳母親的腿摔壞了，為什麼不問？ 不嚴重嘛！她嚇得面色發白。 Nothing serious?妳根本不關心妳母親！ 事後這位女孩逢人就說，她見到活菩薩了！ 如果大帝公真是神，神應該無所不知，為什麼還有兩成的誤差呢？如果祂不是神，人怎麼可能對一個素未謀面的人，猜到八成不可能為外人所知的事實？我過去完全在主觀的條件下見到大帝公，缺乏旁觀的認識，所以對大帝公也只是姑妄信之而已。 我不能否認受到了科學的遺害，我堅信萬事萬物都有必然的規律。在未經求証事實、沒有理論根據以前，我無法接受一個簡單的有無或是非的答案。神是人生中極重要的一個課題，是追求的真理的關隘，一直縈繞在我心中。只是目前的工作尚未完成，既然大帝公要我為祂工作，總有機會讓我痛下功夫研究的。 大帝公走後，我又換了一組智能小組的成員，專門討論玩具的設計。 有一天在午睡時，我突然夢到兩個洋娃娃由前面跑過來，對著我微笑。那形像明晰如真，鮮明而強烈，我心中一動。接著我走進了一個巷子，繞過彎彎曲曲的走道，在一間木屋中，有人用低沉的聲音問道：你什麼時候走？ 該走就走。說時喉頭振動，我醒了過來。 晚飯後，我召集智能小組，記得到場的有沈紅蓮、王姝、小席、小毛、萬華德等。我認為這個夢是我日思夜想所得到的一種感應，然而這次夢中的特色，是那個洋娃娃。為什麼我認為是洋娃娃，而不是兩個外國小孩呢？我要大家當作研究的課題，分析一下。 大家正在大發讜論，突然電話鈴響了，沈紅蓮一接，就交給我，說是吳先生。 朱先生吧？我是吳龍雄。大帝公叫我打電話給你，說是給你托了一個洋娃娃的夢，不要又忘了！ 我一聽，全身一陣麻，半響作聲不得！ 四月，我們依照原定計劃，在深圳市舉行聚珍整合系統的國家級評估，仍由科學院主持。會場設在一個渡假村內，那裡一片仿古樓閣，頗具雅意。處處園林山水，曲廊靜池，讓我們這些成日工作的機器人大大的輕鬆了幾天。 又是國內一流的專家，也得到了技術超越國際水平的佳評（我們已經事先聲明，聚珍目前還不是產品）。但是意義上與第一次大不相同，中文字庫沒有對手，還可以說是外國人不做中文字庫。但是整合軟體與文字無關，國內這些一流專家都是見多識廣，萬中選一的頂尖高手，要通過審核並不容易。 一個人不能見微知著，就不能稱為有智慧。由工程師們志得意滿的、相互對談中，我聽出了隱藏在成功下的危機：王總昨天又問我，有沒有把握？ how do you say?
