Chapter 20 postscript

cabin 威廉.保羅.楊 1149Words 2023-02-05
Well, you're done, at least that's the version I've heard.I know some people will wonder if everything really happened as McCann recalled, or if the car accident and the morphine made him a little crazy. As for McCann, he continues to live a normal and productive life, and still insists that the story is every word of it.He told me that all the changes in his life were enough to testify to him.The great grief has disappeared, and most of the days, he experiences life with incomparable joy. So as I write these words, the question I face is how do I end a story like this?Perhaps it's best for me to tell you a little bit about how it affected me.As I stated in the introduction, McCann's story changed me.I think every aspect of my life has been deeply touched and changed in really important ways, especially relationships.Do I think this story is true?I hope this is all true.Maybe if some parts of the story are not true in some sense, but the story is still true if you know what I mean.I guess you and Sha Ruiyu have to figure this out.

What about McCann?Let's just say he's a man going through change just like the rest of us.It's just that he welcomes change and I tend to resist it.I've noticed that he loves more than most, forgives quickly and asks for forgiveness. His transformation has sent ripples through his network of relationships, some of which have not come easily. But I’ll be honest with you, I’ve never met an adult who lived with this simple joy.Somehow, he became a child again.Or rather, he had become the child he had never been allowed to be, living in simple trust and wonder. He embraced even the darker shadows of his life as part of an unfathomably rich and profound tapestry woven with masterful hand by invisible hands of love.

As I write this story, McCann is testifying at the trial of the baby girl killer. He had hoped to visit the accused, but was not granted permission. But he was determined to see him, and it didn't matter how long after the verdict was set. If you have the chance to spend time with McCann, you will soon learn that he is looking forward to a new revolution, a revolution of love and kindness. At the center of the revolution is Jesus and what he has done for us all, and his continued desire What happens to people who are reconciled and long for a family. This revolution is not about overthrowing anything, if anything, in ways that we absolutely cannot pre-plan.This revolution will be the quiet power of everyday life, of dying, of service, of love, of laughter, of simple tenderness, of invisible kindness, because if anything matters, everything matters. One day, when all is revealed, each of us will bow our knees under the power of Sha Ruiyu, admit that Jesus is the Creator, and give glory to Papa.

Oh, and on a final note, I'm sure McCann and Cortana still go up there sometimes, to that cabin, just to be alone.I wouldn't be surprised if he went out to the run-down dock, took off his shoes and socks, and just put his feet on the water just to see if um, that's the thing. willie Heaven is everywhere on earth, Every common bush would be thrilled for the gods, But only those who could see took off their shoes; the others sat around and picked blackberries.
